Armored Core Dev Asks Fans to ‘Wait a Little Longer’

Dark Souls developer From Software isn't finished with the Armored Core series.

In a recent tweet (translated by DualShockers), the studio said "there is nothing we can announce now, but we don't intend to end the

series as it is, so we'd be happy if you could wait a little longer."

In a follow-up tweet, the studio added that an Armored Core 20th anniversary PS4 theme will release tomorrow, Tuesday, December 5.

Mega Man X-X8 Coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC

All eight Mega Man X games are coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC next year.

Capcom developer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya shared the news during today's Mega Man 30th anniversary livestream. Mega Man X-X8 will be available for all current-gen consoles and PC sometime in summer 2018.

Mega Man X first launched on the Super Nintendo in 1993, and has since been remade and ported to other platforms. For our thoughts on the first game in the X series, read IGN's review of Mega Man X.

In addition to all eight Mega Man X games, next year brings with it another treat for fans of the Blue Bomber. During the 30th anniversary livestream, Capcom also announced Mega Man 11, an entirely new installment in the core series that will be released sometime in late 2018.

Mega Man 11 Announced

Mega Man 11 is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC next year.

Capcom announced the game during its Mega Man 30th anniversary livestream today. While a specific release date has yet to be announced, the title will be available sometime in late 2018.

Mega Man 11 features a 2.5D design, with entirely hand-drawn characters and environments. Capcom will share more details about the game this coming summer.

That's not the only exciting news Capcom shared today for Mega Man fans. The publisher also announced that all eight Mega Man X games will be released for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime during the summer of next year.

Ubisoft Giving Away 3 Free Games for PC This Holiday

Update: Ubisoft has announced it's extending its Happy Playdays giveaway and adding Watch Dogs to the selection of PC games available for free for a limited time.

World in Conflict (and its Soviet Assault expansion), Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Watch Dogs will be available to download for free from December 18-23.

Ubisoft is giving away Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and World in Conflict for PC this holiday season.

The games are free for all PC owners with a Ubisoft account, and will be available on a special Ubisoft giveaway site for a limited time. World in Conflict and its Soviet Assault expansion will be free on PC from December 4-11. Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be available from December 11-18.

House of Cards: Season 6 Will Not Include Kevin Spacey

Netflix will resume production of House of Cards' sixth season early next year, and the final season of the popular show will not include Kevin Spacey.

As reported by Variety, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos announced an agreement has been made to move forward with production in early 2018. "We were really excited we could get to an agreement… for the conclusion of the show," Sarandos said at UBS's Global Media and Communications Conference in New York.

In the wake of allegations against Spacey earlier this year, production on Season 6 was suspended, with Netflix saying it would "review the current situation" with its partners at Media Rights Capital (MRC), as well as the rest of the cast and crew of the show.

Secret of Mana PS4 Getting Limited Physical Release

A physical version of the upcoming Secret of Mana remake will be available for PlayStation 4, Square Enix has announced.

According to the publisher, the physical release will be available in limited quantities, exclusively at GameStop in the United States, at EB Games for those in Canada, and at participating retailers in Latin America.

If you preorder the Secret of Mana remake, you'll get Moogle and Tiger character costumes for the game's three heroes: Randi, Primm, and Popoi.

Secret of Mana will be released for PS4, PS Vita, and Steam on February 15, 2018. In addition to the PS4 physical version, it will be available digitally for all three aforementioned platforms. Meanwhile, those in Japan will have the opportunity to purchase this amazing collector's edition.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Update Speeds Up Progression

The latest Star Wars Battlefront 2 update speeds up progression in a big way.

According to DICE, the update, which is now live, increases the amount of credits players earn after matches. This new end-of-round payout change especially benefits the top players on each team, as they'll earn even more credits.

DICE has also increased the credit cap in Arcade Mode from 500 credits per day to 1500 credits, and is promising to add more content to the mode in the near future.

Lastly, the amount of crafting parts you can earn from daily login crates has increased, with DICE saying players will notice the change right away when logging in. Since crafting parts are used to make or upgrade Star Cards, this will allow players to progress and increase their characters' weapons, gear, and abilities a lot faster.
