Grimm Cast’s Reactions to Reading the Series Finale

Grimm is ready to say its final goodbye, and based on how the cast responded to reading the series finale script, Friday's episode is going to be pretty intense.

IGN was on the set of Grimm right after the cast had received the finale script, and asked the stars of the series to break down their reactions to experiencing it for the first time. In anticipation of its airing, here's how they all responded to "The End":

The Witcher Series Sales Pass 25 Million

The Witcher, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have collectively sold over 25 million copies, according to CD Projekt.

The figure was revealed in the company's 2016 financial report, which cited over 1 billion PLN (over $250 million USD) in cumulative revenue from The Witcher 3 and its two expansion packs: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.

The first game in The Witcher series was released in 2007. A sequel, Assassins of Kings, followed in 2011, with Wild Hunt rounding out Geralt of Rivia's trilogy in 2015. In addition to its commercial success — selling 6 million copies in its first 6 weeks — The Witcher 3 released to critical acclaim, earning IGN's 2015 Game of the Year award.

26 Images From the Game of Thrones Season 7 Trailer

The trailer for the upcoming season of Game of Thrones dropped today, and it gives a look into the characters that will be shaping the outcome of season 7.

Daenerys, Jon Snow, and Cersei Lannister are all seen in the trailer, titled "Long Walk," each making their way to the throne from which they rule.

There's a fourth power at play here, seen at the very end of the trailer. For a look, check out the slideshow below.

Cersei sits upon the Iron Throne and her breath is clearly seen as she exhales, signifying winter is no longer coming, but has instead arrived.

One theme of the upcoming season of Game of Thrones will be many of its characters coming together, with many meeting for the first time.

BioShock Creator’s Twilight Zone Movie Might Not Happen

BioShock creator Ken Levine's interactive Twilight Zone movie may not come to fruition.

When asked about the project during an audience Q&A at EGX Rezzed in London, Levine said the project is currently "in flux." He continued, "Right now it's at the stage where I'm still deciding whether this is something that I want to be doing."

Based on the classic sci-fi series, the Twilight Zone movie was first announced last April. At the time, Levine said he was writing and directing the interactive live-action film, adding it was a "side project."

Destiny 2 Collector’s Edition, Two Expansions Revealed

Bungie has lifted the cover off of multiple Destiny 2 packages including a Collector's Edition, Limited Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition. The existence of two expansion passes for the upcoming Destiny sequel was also confirmed.

Avengers Director Will Reportedly Helm Batgirl Movie

Warner Bros. is reportedly moving forward on a Batgirl movie and Joss Whedon in talks to direct.

IGN has confirmed a report by Variety that the director is "nearing a deal to write, direct, and produce" the solo film, which will serve as a part of the DCEU and include additional characters from Gotham.

While Warner Bros. Pictures Group president and CCO Toby Emmerich is overseeing the project with DC Films co-heads Jon Berg and Geoff Johns, no other producers are currently attached to the untitled project.

Whedon is known for his work on two major MCU movies. He wrote and directed Marvel's The Avengers and its followup, Age of Ultron. He also created Marvel's television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as several other shows, including Firefly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Destiny 2 Release Date Announced, Beta Details Revealed

Destiny 2 will be released on September 8, Bungie has revealed today. The sequel will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

An open beta for the sequel will be coming this summer and the game is now available for pre-order. The announcement came as part of the game's official reveal trailer:

Bungie will also reveal the first gameplay for the sequel during a live stream on May 18. Destiny 2 will mark the first time the series is available on PC, corroborating previous reports. Destiny originally debuted on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. The PS4 version of the game will have timed exclusive content until at least the fall of 2018, and more details will come this summer.

Mission: Impossible 6 Won’t Star Jeremy Renner

Mission: Impossible 6 reportedly won't feature the return of Jeremy Renner's William Brandt.

According to Showbiz 411, the actor is instead busy with two upcoming MCU movies. In addition to Marvel's The Avengers: Infinity War, Renner will reportedly also make an appearance as Hawkeye in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Potentially filling the void left by Renner's absence from MI:6 is Superman actor Henry Cavil, whose involvement in the project was announced earlier this month by director Christopher McQuarrie. Last month, McQuarrie shed light on the film, saying it will feature a few familiar faces and provide a different look at Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt, when it opens in theaters on July 27, 2018.

Five Nights at Freddy’s Movie May Land at Blumhouse

Blumhouse is reportedly close to acquiring the film rights to Five Nights at Freddy's .

Deadline reports Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema pulled the movie from production a few months ago, and numerous distributors have been interested in picking it up. Additionally, Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon recently teased Blumhouse's potential acquisition on Twitter.

Justice League: Report Disputes Massive Runtime Rumor

Despite rumors that Justice League will have a runtime of 170 minutes, making it 20 minutes longer than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the length of the film apparently has yet to be finalized.

According to TheWrap, "an individual with close knowledge of the project" said the film isn't 2 hours and 50 minutes in length. Justice League reportedly isn't finished yet, and as such, the filmmakers have not yet determined the film's exact runtime.

Rumors regarding Justice League's alleged runtime surfaced earlier this week when social media chatter claimed the film would be 170 minutes long. Additionally, IMDb's listing for the movie indicates that Justice League will be 2 hours and 50 minutes in length.
