BvS: More New Details on the Batmobile

The new Batmobile, which is being crafted for DC Comics' overarching film universe and set to first appear in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, is quite different from the Tumbler.

In the latest issue of Empire (via ComicBookMovie.com) production designer Patrick Tatopoulos discussed the creation of Batman's new ride, calling it "an emotional process" that has been "about what feels right."

Tatopoulos went on to speak to the importance of creating a vehicle that seamless fits within the grounded nature of DC's film universe. "These films are very grounded. There will be tons of CG, but also a lot of real stuff - especially with Batman. Of course, building a car from scratch is challenging. The car drives, jumps, pretty much does everything. We got the best people."

Hannibal: A Look at the Characters from Film to TV

With Hannibal: Season 3 now in its second half and the "Red Dragon" portion of the story underway, we thought it'd be a delicious time for a look back at some of the previous iterations of the characters we've all come to admire and adore (and hate and fear).

For those who may be experiencing the Dr. Lecter-verse for the first time, the show is based on the crime-fiction world created by novelist Thomas Harris. His books Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, and Hannibal Rising have all been turned into feature films (in Red Dragon's case, twice - first under the title Manhunter) and the TV show is a glorious, grotesque, reimagining/remix of the characters and events from those books.
