Secrets to the Best Games of E3 2015

E3 2015 may be over, but that doesn't mean we can't take a look back at some of the biggest games shown during the convention. From and new Dark Souls, to a brand new, fresh look at Kingdom Hearts 3, E3 2015 is seemingly one of the greatest E3s in a long time. Join us as we take a closer look at key games and dig deep into their gameplay demos and trailers to assess what we can expect in the very near future of gaming.

Arguably the biggest surprise of E3, Horizon: Zero Dawn looks to bring something new to the table. A future where human civilization collapsed and robot dinosaurs roam the lands, this one has our utmost attention.

We knew it was coming, but it's been pretty hush, hush for a long while. Square-Enix finally did us a solid and gave us another look at Kingdom Hearts 3 with this satisfying gameplay trailer.

South Park Creators Envision the Final Episode

South Park fans have a good long while before they have to worry about the show ending. Comedy Central has creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker signed on for at least two more seasons through 2016, and no telling how long after that. But when the time does come, do Matt and Trey have a story in mind for the very final episode?

To put it bluntly... no, not really. But speaking with IGN's own Ryan McCaffrey at E3 last week, the creators did reveal what a South Park series finale would probably be like. "I think it's going to end with a fizzle, for sure," Parker said with a laugh. "I think it's just going to end with some dud, and we're gonna go, 'F*** this, man,' and walk away."

Bethesda Accepts Bottle Cap Payment for Fallout 4

After amassing over 2,240 bottle caps and sending them to Bethesda Softworks in an attempt to secure a pre-order for Fallout 4, one dedicated fan has earned himself a copy of the highly anticipated open-world game.

The individual confirmed on Reddit that Bethesda has accepted his unconventional form of payment, saying, "He

told me since I was the first person to do this, I would be receiving a copy of the game this November, and that he would be running my caps over to deposit them at the People's Bank of Point Lookout."

That Time I *Didn’t* Meet Batman

I remember a long, long time ago, I found out my hero was coming to town. Batman! This was the Adam West variation, of course, long after original episodes of the 1960s show had gone off the air. But I guess West and his Robin, Burt Ward, still did tours back in those halcyon days of syndication, bringing the batmobile to car shows and malls and such. In full costume, no less!

I was so psyched to get to meet Batman and to see the batmobile in person (the TV show version remains to this day one of my favorite pieces of tech ever). And mind you, I didn’t really think of Batman as Adam West back then. This was the Caped Crusader I was meeting!

Only, I didn’t. When my family got to the car show, or whatever it was -- who can really remember at this point? -- where West and Ward were supposed to greet the fans, we were told that Batman couldn’t make it because he was “out getting the batmobile washed.” (Yeah, the car wasn’t there either.) Crushing disappointment. This was not the Dynamic Duo’s finest hour.

Humans: William Hurt On the Dangers of Artificial Intelligence

This Sunday, June 28th, AMC premieres Humans - a sci-fi co-production with England's Channel 4 about a parallel present world that relies heavily on task-oriented machines that look human called "Synths."

The story follows three separate threads: A family that purchases its first Synth, Anita (Gemma Chan), to help around the house, a mysterious man named Leo (Colin Morgan) and his desperate quest to track down some missing Synths, and a retired scientist (William Hurt) who's extremely reluctant to recycle his out-dated Synth model.

I had the chance to speak to star William Hurt about his role on the series along with the upsides and downsides regarding artificial intelligence and humanity's addiction to technology.

Game of Thrones: 6 Things We Want from Season 6

Spoiler warning for all of HBO's Game of Thrones...

Hey, so... we've never done this before. Not a TV season wish list (we've done plenty of those), but a Game of Thrones TV season wish list. Because we've always had the books. Despite the tweaks and twists the story took getting to the screen -- additions, subtractions, extrapolations, etc -- George R. R. Martin's novels were always our guide. So we didn't need to speculate about upcoming seasons. We'd just excitedly anticipate all the things we knew and/or assumed were headed our way.
