In a reflection of Sony's recent embrace of PC gaming, the platform holder has introduced the PlayStation PC brand for several of its games on Steam.

The new label popped up just recently as the publisher for Days Gone on Steam, and Video Games Chronicle reports that the name was registered back in April. It further solidifies Sony's intentions for PC, suggesting that PlayStation intends to bring plenty more games to Steam in the near future.

Already, several PlayStation exclusives have made their way to PC, including Horizon Zero Dawn, Death Stranding and Days Gone. God of War and the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection are both due in 2022. PlayStation has generally worked with external developers on these projects, including 505 Games and Jetpack Interactive.

Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan explained PlayStation's strategy for PC in an interview with GQ, "There’s an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognize the economics of game development, which are not always straightforward. The cost of making games goes up with each cycle, as the caliber of the IP has improved. Also, our ease of making it available to non-console owners has grown. So it’s a fairly straightforward decision for us to make."

Meanwhile, Epic Games reportedly offered Sony $200 million to get its games on PC.

Whatever fans may think of this approach, it appears that PlayStation's PC strategy is here to stay. Sony's next major release on the platform is God of War, which launches January 14.

Zack Snyder's upcoming Netflix movie Rebel Moon will feature scenes similar to those depicting Krypton in 2013's Man of Steel, except on a far larger scale.

During an interview on BroBible's Post-Credit Podcast, Snyder spoke about his plans for Rebel Moon and how he hopes that it will be a sci-fi epic of the biggest proportions.

In terms of its scale, the director compared elements of his upcoming sci-fi epic to those at the beginning of his previous work on Man of Steel. "The beginning of Man of Steel has some pretty big science fiction elements in it," says Snyder referring to scenes in the film depicting the violent destruction of the planet Krypton as it becomes obliterated in space.

"That's kind of what we're doing in Rebel Moon," the director continues shortly after. "But on the biggest steroids that I can give it. And frankly, what I'm really interested [in] with this movie is creating a romantic sci-fi film on a scale that is just frankly as big as you can make a movie and that's the thing that really makes me excited."

Rebel Moon was initially announced as a Netflix exclusive back in July. As well as directing, Snyder is also set to co-write the film where he will be reunited alongside his 300 co-writer Kurt Johnstad and fellow Army of the Dead screenwriter Shay Hatten.

The film was originally planned as a Star Wars follow-up to Return of the Jedi that Snyder pitched to LucasFilm prior to the franchise's acquisition by Disney. While plans for the concept to become part of the Star Wars universe never saw the light of day, Snyder confirmed that he was reworking the premise into an original film earlier this year.

In other related news, Snyder recently revealed that the sequel to this year's release of Army of the Dead officially has a name. The film will be called Planet of the Dead - though at present it currently does not have a release date.

This Krampus statue faithfully reproduces the source material (which was written by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and drawn by Adam Hughes). The statue clocks in at 12.25 inches tall and is limited to 500 pieces.

If the design of the Krampus statue looks familiar, that's because it was originally featured as an unpainted miniature in a 2019 expansion pack for Mantic's Hellboy: The Board Game. Working in conjunction with Mantic's artists, Dark Horse has scaled up the original figurine and transformed it into a striking, full-color statue.

“Working with our good friends at Mantic and Level 52 Studios, we’ve enlarged and meticulously painted Hellboy’s favorite yule goat in gory detail,” said Dark Horse Direct Director of eCommerce, Melissa Lomax, in a statement. “This festive and eerie statue begs to adorn your mantle year round. Celebrate being on the naughty list this year and pre-order today before it descends back into the depths beyond!”

What to Expect at the Upcoming PUBG MOBILE 13 Days of Halloween Finale With Dr Disrespect

Dr Disrespect will be the special guest for the entirety of the PUBG MOBILE 13 Days of Halloween finale and this will actually be his first time playing the mobile version of the popular battle royale title PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on stream.

He will be playing in four matches, and the first three matches will see him join with separate teams of PUBG MOBILE content creators that are named after his brand descriptors - Team Violence, Team Speed, and Team Momentum. For the fourth and final match, Doc will select three of his favorite creators to join his team for one last round.

From October 22 through October 29, PUBG MOBILE will also be holding a ‘Who Will Doc Choose?’ contest that will allow fans to guess which creators Doc will choose to be on his final team. Doc will announce the winner of that contest and the ‘Ride to Survive Sweepstakes’ contest during the livestream finale. Those lucky enough to win Doc’s contest will be entered in to win AirPod Pros or an iPhone 13, while the ‘Ride to Survive Sweepstakes’ will award one lucky winner with a 2021 Ural Sidecar Motorcycle.

The PUBG MOBILE 13 Days of Halloween event has been running since October 17 and features a select group of content creators hosting special Halloween-themed livestreams while playing PUBG MOBILE. South Park: Post COVID, the first of 14 Paramount+ exclusive South Park specials, will debut on November 25. The second of the South Park specials will be available on Paramount+ in December, followed by a traditional season of the show on Comedy Central in early 2022.

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone spoke to The Hollywood Reporter in an article published on Wednesday. They clarified that the Paramount+ specials aren't feature-length movies and Viacom may have gotten overexcited in the original press release.

“With Viacom, we realized we could make [the 14 Paramount+ specials] as long or as short as we needed,” Parker said. “And they then went and called them movies. They are the ones who said we are giving them 14 movies in seven years. All I can say is for me, personally, I am 52 years old, I have made three movies in my life. So you do the math."

Stone added, "We’re trying to make what’s on Paramount+ different from anywhere else, so hourlong made-for-TV movies is where our head is at. We’ll do two made-for-TV movies every year. They will be big, but they are not quite movie scale."

With South Park renewed through season 30 in 2027, new seasons of the series will continue to air on Comedy Central every year. New episodes of South Park seasons 25 and 26 will stream on HBO Max 24 hours after they premiere on Comedy Central.

As for what to expect from the new seasons, Stone expressed enthusiasm for the return of Mr. Garrison, a character who took on the role of a Donald Trump spoof during the 2016 United States presidential elections, which was season 20 of the series.

Parker and Stone expected Trump to lose in the elections and had to rewrite an episode and make a big change to one of their most popular characters after Trump won. The series was then able to stick to mocking current events for the next four years.

"I was so f***ing happy to get Garrison back," Stone says. "That was one of the best parts of Trump losing [in the 2020 elections], we got Garrison back."

There are Ghostbusters proton pack replicas, and then there's the Ghostbusters Plasma Series Spengler's Proton Pack replica hitting Hasbro's crowd-funding platform HasLab.

From the looks of it, this is the most realistic proton pack outside of either a movie prop or a lovingly crafted Ghostbusters cosplay group. This 1:1 "movie-inspired" pack is opening up funding with a price tag of $399. Check out the gallery below to get a better idea of the level of detail in this prop.

As is the case with Hasbro HasLab projects like the recently announced G.I. Joe Skystriker XP-14F jet, there are stretch goals in place to help encourage more Ghostbusters fanatics to pledge.
