Get Hands-on with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate This Month
If you can't wait to get your hands on Assassin's Creed Syndicate - and let's face it, October is a long way off - you 're in luck, because you could be slipping into Jacob's assassin robe in just a couple of weeks.
Yes, IGN is partnering with Ubisoft to give players the opportunity to attend the world's first hands-on of Assassin's Creed Syndicate at an event in London, which takes place on June 16-18, with tickets available here. You will need a Uplay account to get tickets.
Ubisoft promises it will be a truly unique interactive experience, with attendees playing the same demo that will be showcased at E3, at the same time, only without the expense and hassle of flying all the way to Los Angeles. Similar events will also be taking place in other cities around the world, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Stockholm, Sydney, and Moscow.

Windows 10 Pricing Announced
It'll cost you $119 USD for Windows 10 Home and $199 USD for Windows 10 Pro.
This pricing comes via CNET and is only applicable to Windows users not eligible for the free upgrade from compatible versions of Windows 7 or Windows 8... or for anyone who doesn't take advantage of the one-year upgrade window.
These prices are in line with the cost of purchasing equivalent versions of Windows 8.
Speaking of which, the free upgrade applies to an equitable version of Windows 10, meaning Windows 7/8.1 Home users can access a free upgrade to Windows 8 Home, while Windows 7/8.1 Pro users can freely jump to Windows 10 Pro.
Michael Bay to Direct Time-Travel Film
Michael Bay's next directorial effort may be Time Salvager.
The Wrap is reporting that the Transformers director has signed on to direct an adaptation of an upcoming sci-fi novel of the same name by Wesley Chu.
Both book and movie are set in a future where humanity has abandoned Earth. The storyline follows a crim called James Griffin-Mars who partakes in time-travel missions to collect important resources without impacting the timeline.
Naturally, the plot kicks off in full swing when Griffin-Mars does the opposite of that, saving a scientist named Elise Kim, which sees them both on the run in the future.
Public Hands-on Events for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Begin this Month
Ubisoft has announced a special series of events the publisher has dubbed ‘Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: The Tour’. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: The Tour will give players who register the first chance to play this year’s Assassin’s Creed game, which is set in 19th Century London.
Ubisoft has scheduled this series of hands-on events for the public in nine cities across Europe, Russia, and Australia. Anyone who successfully registers for an event will have the opportunity to play the same demo that Ubisoft will have on the show floor at E3 this year.
Events will take place in Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Stockholm, and London from June 16 to June 18, Sydney from June 17 to June 19, and Moscow in July.
Valve Announces $250,000 Prize Pool for CS:GO at Cologne 2015
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s next Major Championship is ESL One Cologne 2015 with a $250,000 prize pool, Valve official announced today.
The sixth Major Championship for CS:GO will run August 20-23 at the LANXESS arena in Cologne, Germany. Eight invited and eight qualified teams will go head-to-head to win the ESL One Champion title and trophy, currently held by ESL One Katowice 2015 champion, Fnatic.
Fans unable to attend will be able to watch the all of the group stages and playoff matches, along with behind-the-scenes and "out of game" footage via multiple livestreams. For the first time, offline regional qualifying events in Burbank, USA, Cologne, Germany and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will also be officially streamed on July 18-19.
Marvel Reveals First Look at Their Heroes After Secret Wars
Marvel Comics has released the first image of their heroes as they will appear after this summer’s big Secret Wars event.

Secret Wars brought about the end of the Marvel Universe in May, which resulted in a new place being created called Battleworld -- a world made up of different Marvel realities ruled by Doctor Doom. A majority of Marvel’s books ended and were replaced with Secret Wars series, leaving fans to wonder if Marvel was going to reboot or relaunch their entire line after Secret Wars. While the press release does not use either of those words, it does give a name to this new era of Marvel and confirm that we will be getting a new wave of comics all starting at issue #1.
Star Wars: Could Mace Windu Still Make a Comeback?
Most Star Wars fans agree that Mace Windu perished in Revenge of the Sith, but others -- including star Samuel L. Jackson -- aren't entirely convinced.
Ever since it was first announced that Disney and Lucasfilm were making more Star Wars movies, Jackson has said he'd be open to reprising his role as the esteemed Jedi Master.
