Fox Wants You to Forget About the Old Fantastic 4 Films

20th Century Fox really wants you to forget about their earlier Fantastic Four movies.

According to THR, the studio has pulled their original pair of big screen adaptations of the Marvel comic from digital platforms -- including iTunes and Amazon -- ahead of this August's release of the Fantastic Four reboot.

The trade's source claims Fox yanked the movies "so as not to distract from promotion of the rebooted franchise, which is seeking to establish a different tone than the previous releases. The source says the older titles might cause confusion in the marketplace. ... The source also indicated the older films could once again be available digitally after this summer's Fantastic Four comes out."

Final Oculus Rift Model Reportedly Leaks

Oculus VR recently launched a new website for the Oculus Rift headset, and fans quickly found buried images hinting at what may be upcoming news.

The website presents a countdown timer ending Thursday, June 11 at roughly 10 a.m. PST, when official Oculus news is scheduled for reveal. But upon deeper searching through the website's code, Reddit user explogeek found images of what appear to be the headset's finalized design. And following the discovery, Oculus creator Palmer Luckey confirmed the images are real, albeit outdated placeholder photos that shouldn't all be considered final.

Is Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden Heading Westward?

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden has been rated by the Australian Classification Board, the government organization responsible for rating media for sale in Australia.

The 3DS fighter has only been confirmed for release in Japan sometime this summer. Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden was initially announced as Japan-only back in February, but an Australian rating is a good sign that it will expand its reach beyond just the Japanese archipelago.

Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows Gets Pricing, Release Window

Microsoft today announced that the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows will be available "this fall," which narrows the window to sometime between September and December.

The wireless adapter will allow you to use your Xbox One controller on any PC, laptop, or tablet running Windows 10 without a Micro USB tether, according to the Major Nelson Blog. The adapter will cost $25 USD, or bundled with an Xbox One controller for $80 USD.

The Last Guardian to Reportedly Appear at E3

The Last Guardian will finally be getting a re-reveal at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, according to a new report.

In The Guardian's rundown of its most anticipated games for E3 2015, the outlet claims it has "on very good authority that this will be the year that Team Ico finally presents its follow-up to much loved classics Ico and Shadow of the Colossus."

The Last Guardian was first announced for PlayStation 3 back in 2009, but thanks to studio troubles, the title still has yet to see the light of day. Late last year, Sony said development was progressing "under completely new conditions," leading us to suspect it's now coming to PlayStation 4.

Seahawks Star Marshawn Lynch Appears in Black Ops 3

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch will appear in Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

The NFL player is the first athlete to show up as a character in the blockbuster shooter franchise from Activision, according to ESPN. Lynch, a self-proclaimed Call of Duty fan who says, "the whole game is Beast Mode," will portray a villain with his likeness in Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

Lynch is a mercenary found in a Singapore bar in the upcoming shooter, joined by other guns-for-hire. The 29-year-old athlete, who's showcased his gaming skills before, did mo-cap acting for the role and worked with developer Treyarch on his character.

NBA Live 16 Cover Athlete Revealed

Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook will grace the cover of NBA Live 16, EA announced today.

"NBA Live 16 is all about self-expression, and who better embodies that than Westbrook, both on and off the court?" said EA Sports VP of Marketing Anthony Stevenson. "Russell plays every game like he has something to prove. Our team is building NBA Live the exact same way, so we’re thrilled to have him as an ambassador for our game."

Dark Souls 3 Confirmed for ‘Early 2016′ Release

Following previous rumors suggesting the still unannounced Dark Souls 3 would release in 2016, IGN has obtained a Dark Souls 3 promotional image for E3 narrowing the release window.

The unreleased, official art below displays an armored hero covered tattered cloth and flames, as well as the suggested launch frame of "Early 2016."
