Every Piece of News From Bethesda’s E3 2015 Press Conference
Bethesda's conference kicked off E3 in a big way this Sunday—and there was a lot to take in. If you weren't able to catch it all, you'll find a rundown below of every major story that came out of the conference.
The long wait is over for Fallout fans: Bethesda delivered a flurry of information on Fallout 4 during its press conference, with the biggest bit of news being its release date.

The Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition will come with your very own Pip-Boy.
Essentially, it's a casing that houses most smart phones and will work in conjunction with an iOS and Android second-screen app to create a fully-functional Pip-Boy. The game's director Todd Howard said he's not usually a fan of collector's edition but referred the Pip-Boy as the "best f***ing one I've ever seen."
Steam Hits 10 Million Concurrent Users
Steam has notched up an eight-figure concurrent user count for the first time, hitting 10 million concurrent users over the weekend.
According to Steam’s stats page the figure peaked at over 10 million users just before midday pacific time on June 14. Unsurprisingly, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive are currently the top two played games on Steam, followed by the Early Access dinosaur survival sim ARK: Survival Evolved, Team Fortress 2, and Grand Theft Auto V.
Steam last broke it concurrent user record in early May, registering just over 9.5 million users logged in at the same time.
Fallout 4 Release Date Revealed
Following numerous store listings suggesting a 2015 release date, Bethesda has officially announced that Fallout 4 will arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 10, 2015. It's available for pre-order now on Amazon.

Todd Howard took to the stage during Bethesda's E3 press conference today to showcase a hefty Fallout 4 gameplay demo, revealing that its story begins pre-apocalypse, the return of VATS, and a special collector's edition which comes with a real-life Pip-Boy.
Fallout 4 Introduces New Crafting System
An ambitious new collecting, crafting, and construction system is coming to Fallout 4, allowing you to build structures, defensive outposts, a home for you and your dog companion, and more.

Collectible scrap pieces can be found in every item in the Fallout 4 world, finally giving substance to the trash and trinkets scattered throughout the world. Modifications to weapons allow you to completely alter your weapons' individual pieces, and therefore what they're capable of – whether it's a spiked or saw-bladed bat, or a gun with various stocks, scopes, sights, and other attachments.
Classic Game Homages Playable in Fallout 4
During a demo for Fallout 4 today, Bethesda revealed that homages to classic games will be playable within the upcoming open-world RPG.
On the in-game Pip-Boy -- the main character's wrist-watch -- you can play Fallout-themed versions of Donkey Kong and Missile Command.
Fallout 4's special edition comes with a real-life Pip-Boy that can house your phone. For more on Fallout 4, stay tuned to IGN.
Fallout Mobile Game Fallout Shelter Available Now

Original Story: Bethesda has announced a new Fallout game for iOS is available right now.
Called Fallout Shelter, you get to make your own Vault. The free-to-play game won't require an internet connection, and there won't be long timers you'll want to pay to reduce.

Inspired by games like XCOM and SimCity, you control the people in the Vault and need to keep them happy. They'll level up, and you can give them new items and weapons, which they'll need when you send them out into the Wasteland.
Fallout 3’s VATS System Returns in Fallout 4’s Combat
During Bethesda's E3 2015 Press Conference, the publisher revealed that Fallout 3's tactical combat mechanic VATS -- Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System -- will return in Fallout 4, allowing players to pause the battle, take aim at a target, and take a chance to hit or miss. The strategic system was implemented in Fallout 3 in an effort to maintain the series' roots as a tactical combat game.

The news came during an extended gameplay demo of Fallout 4. A pack of Mole Rats burrowed out of the ground and attacked the main character's dog companion. The second this happened, time froze, and the player had the ability to target exactly which enemies they wanted to attack and where.
Fallout 4’s First Gameplay Details
During Bethesda's E3 press conference today, Todd Howard took the stage to present a substantial gameplay demo for Fallout 4. Among the features showcased were a substantial crafting and customization system which was far beyond anything the series has ever seen. Full details follow.
Let's start at the beginning: Fallout 4's prologue actually takes place prior to the nuclear event that causes the apocalypse. Character generation was, as always, handled within cleverly chosen story interactions. A couple stands in front of their bathroom mirror, playfully bantering. Facial features were customized by simply pointing to them with a cursor, and then sculpting them in real time, as opposed to the vague, old slider system. What's more, it was possible to customize a female avatar as well as a male one.
The Elder Scrolls Legend Card Game Announced
Bethesda has announced The Elder Scrolls Legends.
Announced during its Press Conference this evening, the free-to-play strategy card game is coming to PC and iPad later this year.

Though details were thin on the ground, the title will apparently bring together elements from the past, present and future of The Elder Scrolls titles, so we should expect bits from Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim and more.

A brief trailer showed various characters, suggesting perhaps the title will make use of Classes in a similar manner to Hearthstone. We'll find out more when the game launches later this year.
