IGN’s Top 5 E3 2015 Hopes

E3 is about to start and as it approaches our hopes get one step closer to becoming reality.  During the last week we've talked about the games we want to see at E3 2015 including Metroid, Mass Effect 4, Kingdom Hearts 3, Star Wars Battlefront, and gameplay from the new confirmed Fallout 4. Below you'll find the videos of all our hopes for E3 2015 and for more coverage be sure to hit out E3 page IGN.com/E3.

We've known for a long time that Mass Effect 4 would be coming, but will this E3 be when we finally get to see it? And just what kind of Mass Effect will it be? I'm hoping for more of a return to the role-playing focus that the original game had, and the recent survey leak, if it is to be believed, suggests that we are indeed in for more of an RPG this time around. And what will it visually look like? The first Mass Effect was stunning for its time. Can BioWare do it again on the new consoles? - Ryan McCaffrey

Fake Websites Reveal the Complete Jurassic Park Timeline

Jurassic World opens with a fully-operational theme park, but it doesn't spend much time explaining how the park came to be following the Jurassic Park disaster.

It's really the story of InGen, the bio-engineering company founded by John Hammond in 1985. Below is a rough timeline of how InGen regrouped following the Isla Nubar catastrophe, attracted investors, and developed the technology that made Jurassic World possible. Most of the information can be found by digging around the fake sites set up for the Masrani Corporation and Jurassic World.

June: Dr. John Hammond assembles a group of leading scientists in key disciplines to evaluate his latest venture, a theme park containing dinosaurs. The events of Jurassic Park occur.

Net Neutrality Rules Now in Effect

The rules of net neutrality are once again in effect for those in the United States.

As such, the Federal Communications Commission can now prevent internet service providers from tampering with your service for unjust reasons.

While net neutrality was initially enacted back in 2010, it was overturned by the courts last year. Fortunately, it looks like the commission's revised rules, which passed through the necessary legal hoops earlier this year, are sufficient enough to stand for now.

The Verge notes that we're not completely out of the woods yet, as these new rules are "largely meant to preserve the status quo." Internet providers can no longer throttle traffic speeds or block access to specific websites, but you can be sure these companies will be taking it back to court to once again attempt to get this ruling overturned.

Tembo the Badass Elephant Lives up to his Name

I never expected SEGA’s next platformer would star a rampaging elephant parody of Rambo. Yet here I am, dashing and spinning around in a game from the makers of Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog. Tembo the Badass Elephant is developer Game Freak’s throwback, drawing heavy inspiration from 16-bit mascot platformers. “Tembo is an Asian elephant whose best friend is a military general,” developer James Turner told IGN when the game was announced a few months back. It’s all a bunch of nonsense and I want more of it.

Wasting no time, I blast through a quick tutorial providing the rundown on how to maneuver a special forces-trained elephant. Tembo’s actions are immediately recognizable to me as he performs his best imitation of Sonic the Hedgehog, jumping, dashing, and spinning his way around zones. In addition to the Sonic-like running and jumping, Tembo can uppercut, slide kick, and even use his trunk to put out fires with a reserve of water.
