You Can Play The Division at Comic-Con Next Weekend

Ubisoft has revealed its plans for Comic-Con 2015, which will include Tom Clancy's The Division in playable form.

The open-world role-playing shooter will be featured in the Xbox lounge at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel, where folks will get some hands-on time with the game's Dark Zone multiplayer ahead of its beta, which is coming later this year.

Additionally, Ubi is bringing back the Assassin's Creed Experience for its second year, which includes an obstacle course themed after Victorian-era London.

The publisher will also be having an Assassin's Creed Syndicate panel on July 10 at 2pm PT to discuss the making of the series' next installment. Both Paul Amos and Victoria Atkin, the actors who play Jacob and Evie Frye, will be in attendance, alongside creative director Marc-Alexis Cote.

Battlecry Aims to Mix Your Favorite Action Games Together

Compared to Bethesda’s bigger titles, Battlecry received only a modest chunk of time at its first-ever E3 press conference, giving the team a chance to announce a new playable faction and an upcoming beta. Fortunately, that wasn’t Battlecry’s only chance to shine. The game was actually playable on the show floor, so I went and sunk a few solid rounds into it before grilling the developers for something a bit more substantial than what they shared on stage.

As we noted when we saw the game prior to last year’s E3, its distinct aesthetic recalls certain aspects of Bethesda portfolio-mate Dishonored (which was developed just across town in Austin, TX): the vaguely Victorian uniforms of the Royal Warriors, the steampunk-influenced environments, and, perhaps most obviously, the use of blades and bolts over bullets. Structurally, however, Battlecry more closely resembles Team Fortress 2 in that each character class comes with completely different weapons, abilities, and attributes, which means teamwork drastically improves your life expectancy.

Who Is Marvel’s ‘Totally Awesome’ Hulk?

A lot will be changing in the Marvel Universe after Secret Wars. One of the bigger changes is that there will be an entirely new Hulk in the pages of Greg Pak and Frank Cho's Totally Awesome Hulk. We don't know much about this new character other than that he's not Bruce Banner, he seems to be younger and more immature, there's something strange going on with his left hand and he actually enjoys being the Hulk.

David Cross Discusses Efforts to Make Destiny Funny

From the sounds of it, Destiny could have been a much funnier game. That's because comedians David Cross and Brian Posehn apparently spent "a couple of days" writing witty one-lines for Ghost.

Cross stopped by IGN's London office to discuss his career - more of which can be heard on the IGN UK podcast this Friday - and when talk turned to games, the Arrested Development star opened up about his work on Bungie's shooter.

"Brian Posehn and I got asked and jumped at the chance," he explained. "We were flown up to Bellevue, Washington to do a punch-up on the Ghost character in Destiny about a year ago. We were both very excited about it. They did not use a single, solitary thing that we wrote, which is a shame because we wrote some stuff that – you know, we’re gamers, and they… – I would imagine somebody somewhere said, 'We can’t inject this levity or humour into it.'
