Fire Emblem Fates’ Refreshing Take on Choices and Family Ties
Nintendo's Fire Emblem series has always understood the delicate nature of decisions and the consequences that follow. The first five chapters I play from the import version of Fire Emblem Fates appear to amplify that tradition. It builds a story that leans on the core theme of loyalty. In the end, when the chips are down, it asks whom do you side with? You could say the style is similar to Game of Thrones' conflict between the noble Stark family and the battle-hardened Greyjoys, but that's only on the surface. Both sides of Fire Emblem Fates' grim conflict present lovable and engaging characters. And it all builds up to a critical point in the story where you have to choose between the Nohr -- the family that raised you -- and the Hoshido -- the family you were taken from.

5 Comics Panels We’re Excited for at Comic-Con 2015
As much as San Diego Comic-Con is about movies and TV and games and everything else geek-related, let’s not forget that it’s still a huge event for actual comics too! The show, which runs from July 9-12, is guaranteed to have a ton of comic-book related news coming out of it, and we’ll be there to cover it all.
So with that said, here are the five comics panels we are most excited for at this year’s Comic-Con!
Friday, July 10, 10:00am - 11:00am, Room 25ABC: With no new Avatar series planned for the foreseeable future, we’re hoping for some new Avatar comics at the very least. This panel will feature co-creators and executive producers Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, who will “discuss past storylines and tease the future at a panel full of surprises and behind-the-scenes stories.” We like surprises!
We Are Robin Shows Robin Becoming Mythic
We Are Robin by writer Lee Bermejo and artists Jorge Corona, Rob Haynes, and Khary Randolph is one of the two dozen new DC Comics series to launch in June, telling the story of Duke Thomas. Duke has crossed paths with Batman in the past, and with his parents missing after the Joker's gas-attack in Endgame, he's practically an orphan, which leads to him trying to survive the rough streets of Gotham City. It's not long before he encounters other Gotham youths and together they put on Robin's iconic yellow, green and red colors to fight crime together.
With the first issue of We Are Robin hitting last week, we hopped on the phone with Bermejo to talk about how he turned Batman's sidekick into a fully-fledged street gang movement. It's also worth noting that while the book was originally called "We Are... Robin," Bermejo clarified that the ellipsis was removed, so it's now just "We Are Robin."
The Most Pointless Sequels Ever
With Terminator Genisys hitting screens this week, the new Ghostbusters commencing principal photography, and The Last of Us 2 potentially a thing, Alex, Chris and Daniel discuss pointless sequels and select their best and worse.
Boss stuff includes Arkham Knight, Secret Wars and the brilliant Amy Winehouse documentary, while Toss stuff is Top Gear and the aforementioned new Terminator flick.
And we've got an illuminating interview with comedian David Cross, who discusses new movie Hits, the potential return of Arrested Development, and his efforts to make Destiny funny.

The Top 6 Things We Want in the iPhone 6s
The first (alleged) photos of the iPhone 6s hit the web this week—and while the information’s still trickling out, we already know what we’d like to see announced in September.
Most of these items won’t be a surprise to iPhone fans, nor will their scope. If Apple’s pattern holds, we’re in for a year of iterative updates; next year will be when another round of big changes arrives. But even with that in mind, we can’t help but hope for a couple of things that we likely won’t see just yet—or ever again.
Watch Charizard and Weavile Duke It Out in Pokken Tournament
Charizard and Weavile have been revealed as playable characters in the upcoming Pokémon fighting arcade game, Pokkén Tournament. Also, the game now has an official release date in Japan: July 16, 2015.
Charizard takes advantage of his fire-breathing and flying abilities in combat. His ultimate move, known as a "Burst Attack," transforms the Flame Pokémon into Mega Charizard X. Take a peek at Charizard's reveal trailer below:
Living up to its nickname as the Sharp Claw Pokémon, Weavile dashes and slashes its way through its foes. Being a dual dark/ice-type, Weavile is also capable of delivering chilling blows, which appear to be Ice Punch and Ice Shard. Here's the reveal trailer that shows Weavile in action:

Black Ops 3 CE Details To Be Revealed At Comic-Con

Could This Be The SNES PlayStation Prototype?
Pictures claiming to depict Sony and Nintendo's prototype SNES PlayStation have appeared online.
A Reddit user (via NintendoLife) posted images of the console system, a prototype developed in collaboration between Sony and Nintendo that would be able to play both CD-ROM and SNES carts. However, when Sony announced the system at CES 1991, Nintendo announced at the same event that it was working with Phillips.
