Could Life Be Hiding on Comet 67P?
A couple of scientists from the University of Cardiff are pushing the view that alien life could be hiding in the icy nether-regions of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe and his colleague Dr. Max Wallis believe the black crust of 67P is most likely explained by the presence of living microorganisms dwelling just beneath the comet's surface.
However, most other scientists think Wickramasinghe and Wallis are full of their own type of organic matter, one produced from the posterior regions of a male Bos Taurus.
According to a report from io9, Wickramasinghe's claim that evidence pointing to the comet containing living organisms is unfounded. Phil Plait, author of the Bad Astronomy blog, tweeted the "outrageous claim" of life on comet 67P isn't helped at all by "sloppy methods and fringe science."

Young revealed this on Twitter in response to a fan asking about the possibility of new enemies in the upcoming game.
QuakeCon is set for July 23-26, 2015 in Dallas. The latest in the Doom series was originally announced at QuakeCon years ago before a teaser trailer finally debuted at E3 2014, and then a longer one at QuakeCon a month after that.
At this year's E3, Doom gameplay footage was shown off for the first time during Bethesda's pre-show, where viewers also learned of its modding tools and level editor.
