Star Citizen is ‘Not Feature Creep,’ Says Creator

Star Citizen creator Chris Roberts has responded to accusations that the game is "feature creep."

Some critics have accused Star Citizen of attempting to add too many features too quickly at the expense of quality. Roberts replies: "There are people out there who are going to tell you that... it's 'feature creep' and we should make a smaller, less progressive game for the sake of having it out more quickly or in order to meet artificial deadlines."

"Now I’ll answer those claims in one word: Bull****!" Chris Roberts' response comes a few weeks after Star Citizen's first person shooter module was delayed.

Assassin’s Creed Creator Reveals New Game is Non-Violent

Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Desilets has revealed his upcoming title Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will be a very different offering from what we've seen from him before.

We heard previously about how the game will be a third-person adventure survival title, released episodically and set in an open-world, and now Desilets has spoken to Game Informer about what this all means.

He explains the game will jump throughout history to some key moments in our civilisation where crucial decisions are made. Examples he gives include the domestication of animals, the invention of tools, discovering penicillin and putting a man on the moon. A running theme here is non-violence - yes, bloodshed happens through history, but Desilets wants to go beyond that. He explains this in-depth by looking at a potential section where you'll play as a caveman.

The Witcher 3 Patch Out Now, Adds New Features, Performance Issues

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.07 rolled out earlier this week, introducing a lengthy list of fixes and changes to CD Projekt Red’s open-world role-playing game.

The game’s biggest patch yet ushers in an "alternative movement style" for Geralt, a "stash" that allows players to store extra loot, a books tab in the menu, and addresses a number of known issues.

However, some users on the Wild Hunt's official forum are reporting some problems with the 7.3GB update, ranging from broken PC achievements and crashes. Eurogamer reports the patch also hinders the game’s framerate on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

First Full James Bond SPECTRE Trailer Arrives Tomorrow

The first full trailer for the 24th James Bond film, SPECTRE, will be released tomorrow, July 22.

The trailer will premiere on www.007.com at 12am PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT and we'll be sure to have it available here shortly after.

Despite the last Bond flick, Skyfall, racking up over a billion dollars at the box office and becoming the highest-grossing Bond film to date, director Sam Mendes was reluctant to return for SPECTRE due to plans to shoot the next two Bond films, 24 (SPECTRE) and Bond 25, back-to-back as a two-part story. Those plans were discarded and the next two Bond films will be stand-alone features.

Ridiculously Cool Mario Kart-Themed Nursery

When this father-to-be found out a new addition was coming to the family, he immediately started planning what is probably the most impressive Mario Kart-themed nursery in existence.

This wasn't his first foray into constructing video game-themed nurseries. Dad Wes also had a hand in creating the Legend of Zelda nursery for a friend and Yoshi's Island nursery for his daughter. Feeling the need to up the ante with his third project of game-inspired interior design, Mario Kart 8's iconic tracks and anti-gravity concept caught his eye.

Jennifer Lawrence Has “Hope” for Return as Mystique

X-Men: Apocalypse might not be Jennifer Lawrence's last appearance as Mystique.

According to EW, the reason why Apocalypse might be Lawrence's last X-Men movie isn't because of a lack of love for the series.

"I love working with Bryan

, and I love these movies," said Lawrence.

The reason she's considering leaving is because of the "fumes and toxins" of the Mystique body paint that she didn't care about when she signed up for X-Men: First Class at age 20.

"Now I'm almost 25 and I'm like, 'I can't even pronounce this and that's going in my nose. I'm breathing that?'" said Lawrence.

Oscar winner Benicio del Toro has been offered the role of the villain in Star Wars: Episode VIII, the second film in the next Star Wars trilogy which is being directed by Rian Johnson (Looper).

Episode VIII, of course, will be a direct sequel to J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The Disney/Lucasfilm project is set for a May 26, 2017 release. The Force Awakens’ John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac are expected to return for Episode VIII as the heroes of this new chapter in the franchise.

Del Toro has shown an interest in genre projects in recent years, having played The Collector in Guardians of the Galaxy (also for Disney). He was also reportedly in talks to play Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness, though that role eventually went to Benedict Cumberbatch.
