Executive producer Tomasz Gop has left CI Games and is no longer working on Lords of the Fallen 2.

In an exchange with Eurogamer, Gop confirmed that he had parted ways with the studio, but was unwilling to give details as to why he'd left, stating that he wanted to "respect CI's will" to keep the reason for the departure private.

"I wanted all the best for Lords," said Gop, "but there's going to be someone else leading the project and we'll see if it will make it more successful than I could.

Split-Screen Gaming is Alive and Well

It's a miracle this week's IGN UK Podcast ever got recorded, what with Krupa, Rory and Alex spending every spare minute playing Rocket League. The car football (or vehicle soccer is your surname is Powers) game has got everyone hooked, but also demonstrates that split-screen gaming is very much alive and well, so much so was it wrong that it's been ditched in Halo 5?

We also skim over the best and worst of the week, somewhat pathetically labelled Red Hotty and Cold Botty. Hmmm.

But we promise the podcast is still a gem, and you can watch the entire podcast up above, download it over on iTunes, or download it directly from the source via the link below:

Here’s Half-Life Being Played on a Smartwatch

We recently heard HTC is bringing the Half-Life franchise to virtual reality headset Vive, and now you can play the Valve’s classic shooter on smartwatches thanks to a tutorial by modder Dave Bennett.

According to the tutorial, the game is running on an Android-powered LG G Watch using the SDLash app that emulates the GoldSource engine. Bennett notes that the exercise is a proof of concept and is far ideal control-wise. Performance was better than expected, hitting a high of 30 frames per second down to a low of 2FPS.

“Of course, things such as the lava graphics and special lighting caused a huge drop in fps,” Bennett writes. “Also, trying to play a game on Android wear is a nightmare within itself. The app offers touchscreen controls, but on a 1.65 inch screen, they are almost impossible to use. Also, swiping to the left causes the screen to go back to the previous window. “
