Fallout 4 Players Can Romance Companions
New Fallout 4 details were revealed at a Quakecon-exclusive demo today.
Up to 12 companions will be available to join players in the post-apocalyptic RPG.
Players will also be able romance those companions, regardless of gender.
Strangely, the dozen companions include Dogmeat and Codsworth, a canine and a Mr. Handy robot, respectively. Howard did not specify if players could actually romance the two non-human companions but it can be assumed that might not be the case.
IGN is interviewing Bethesda at Quakecon and we’ll be asking more about Fallout 4’s romance details.
In the meantime, check out our Fallout 4 live blog for more details from the demo, which will not be shown anywhere else.

Marvel’s Relaunch Has a Big Problem
There's plenty of reason to be excited about the direction Marvel Comics is taking these days. The publisher is in the midst of Secret Wars, their biggest (and easily best) event comic in years. All sorts of creators are being given the opportunity to run wild with the blank canvas that is Battleworld. And when the dust of Secret Wars settles, the "All-New, All-Different Marvel" relaunch will offer a fresh jumping-on point for the Marvel Universe, complete with all the new series and new status quos you'd expect. Unfortunately, not everything about the relaunch is looking so rosy right now. The lineup of All-New, All-Different Marvel books is missing a number of key creators, including some who have been mainstays at the company for years. That shrinking pool of creative talent may be the single biggest hurdle Marvel's relaunch will face in the months ahead.
