Become Godlike in Skyforge’s Crucible of the Gods Update
In August, Skyforge will grant you godlike abilities.
For those who seek to attain it, anyway. A new update called Crucible of the Gods is scheduled to arrive for the sci-fi MMO on August 11, and with the update come a number of bug fixes, enhancements, and new content.
This includes Divine Form, a mode players can unlock upon completing the "New God" storyline quest. This form grants the user special abilities, including switching classes mid-battle, growing larger, and having their damage, attack range, and speed all increased. It also unlocks invasions and raids for high-end players.
Developers Obsidian Entertainment and Allods Team will release a list of patch notes as the update's release draws near.
New Spider-Man Reboot Casting Rumors
A rumored cast list for the Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot of Spider-Man has revealed potential actors for several iconic characters.
Now bear in mind that there isn't even a screenplay yet for the planned reboot -- the writers were just hired! -- so take all of the following with a big ol' grain of salt. Still, for the sake of conversation ...
Latino-Review posted a purported casting document, with several parts listed as undergoing final negotiations. According to the document, the villains Vulture and Scorpion will be played by Billy Zane and Jason Biggs, respectively. The report notes that both villains use mechanized suits, fueling speculation of a Tony Stark cameo.
Hannibal: A Look at the Characters from Film to TV
With Hannibal: Season 3 now in its second half and the "Red Dragon" portion of the story underway, we thought it'd be a delicious time for a look back at some of the previous iterations of the characters we've all come to admire and adore (and hate and fear).
For those who may be experiencing the Dr. Lecter-verse for the first time, the show is based on the crime-fiction world created by novelist Thomas Harris. His books Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, and Hannibal Rising have all been turned into feature films (in Red Dragon's case, twice - first under the title Manhunter) and the TV show is a glorious, grotesque, reimagining/remix of the characters and events from those books.

Windows 10’s First Big Update May Release in Early August
The first big update for Windows 10 could come as soon as next month, if some sources are to be believed.
According to The Verge, which cites people "familiar with Microsoft's plans," the company's been hard at work developing patches and updates since the OS' official launch yesterday, with some already rolling out to users. But the biggest of these updates, called Service Release 1, will contain a bunch of fixes that will address several issues people have run into since installing Windows 10.
Microsoft is said to be aiming for an early August release, which could be as soon as next week. Following that, yet another sizable update is set to release sometime in October, and will bring even more bug fixes and features. These feature include a new messaging app and extensions to support the Microsoft Edge browser.

Runescape Players Are Helping Save Wild Cats
Through a partnership with the World Wildlife Fund, RuneScape players can currently participate in in-game events that help to support big cats in the wild.
RuneScape's 200 million players can participate in Adopt a Big Cat activities within the MMO, which give them the chance to adopt exclusive companion cubs based on four big cats (jaguar, tiger, lion, and snow leopard) along with titles for their characters. Additionally, players can donate RuneScape bonds, with proceeds going to the WWF to support their conservation efforts.
Solitaire Goes Free-to-Play in Windows 10
Candy Crush isn't the only free-to-play game packaged with Windows 10. Time-killing card game Solitaire, which has been included free in most of Microsoft's operating systems since Windows 3.0, is getting the freemium treatment in Windows 10.
The subscription-based Solitaire requires a payment of $10 a year or $1.50 a month to remove video ads, which can run for as long as 30 seconds and take up the whole game window. You can still play the game for free, and unlike Windows 8, it does come pre-installed with the OS.
Besides removing ads, the optional upgrade also rewards you more for completing Daily Challenges and gives you boosts for a couple additional game modes included in the Microsoft Solitaire Collection.
