Wrestling Wrap Up: Remembering Roddy Piper

As you all know, Roderick Toombs - aka "Rowdy" Roddy Piper - passed away in his sleep four days ago, marking the pro-wrestling industry's latest tragedy.

I knew Piper wasn't all that old, though in learning that he was only 61 I realized that I'd probably added a few extra years to his life in my mind. I don't actively know a lot of wrestlers' ages - usually have to google - but I'd assumed that Piper had led a well-traveled, fully-experienced life. Not just because he came from the era he came from, but because of the backstory he gave in his podcast sit-down with Steve Austin were he proceeded to describe a rough upbringing that most folks wouldn't have been able to endure.

Here Are 41 Facts You Didn’t Know About No Man’s Sky

IGN recently wrapped up its No Man’s Sky IGN First coverage, but there’s more to the space exploration and survival game than we realized.

In a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, Alex Wiltshire from Hello Games revealed 41 not-so-obvious facts about No Man’s Sky.

The universe isn’t infinite, nor is it random. It would take 585 billion years to see all 18 quintillion planets whose details are governed by “hundreds of rules we’ve made to make a sci-fi universe we want to explore.”

No Man’s Sky is not an MMO either.

“The sheer size of the universe means that everyone is going to be super far apart,” Wiltshire said, “and it’s super unlikely that people will even visit the same planets.”

Nolan North to Take Over Role of Ghost in Destiny

Bungie has revealed it's recast the role of Ghost in Destiny.

Game Informer reports video game acting legend Nolan North was brought in to do the voice of the players' AI Companion in upcoming expansion The Taken King but, after seeing how well he did the job, he has now re-recorded all of Dinklage's existing dialogue.

“We wanted Nolan North’s version of the Ghost to wake you up at the start of the journey at level one and follow you all the way to level forty,” said creative director Luke Smith, so while the script has not been changed, Dinklage's dulcet tones are no more.
