Leaping Tiger is the New App Bringing Gamers Together
In the age of Tinder and Grindr and every other app offering to connect people (ahem) ending in r, it’s a wonder we haven’t seen a tonne of similar apps created specifically for matchmaking gamers. Not that kind of matchmaking - though someone should really get onto that - but an app that finds friends to play the same game as you at the same time.
I’m not alone in this thinking. New Zealand-based start-up company Leaping Tiger has just launched an app of the same name that serves to fill this gap. “Leaping Tiger started as a problem both Jordan
and I had in common, and the more gamers we talked to the more we realised we had a really great solution in our heads,” says co-founder Amy Potter. “We had to build it. So a couple of months later we quit our jobs and did!”

USA’s Colony is the “Photo-Negative” of The Walking Dead
Premiering January 14th on USA, with WWE Smackdown as its lead-in, is Colony, a new sci-fi series from Carlton Cuse (Lost, The Strain, Bates Motel) starring Lost's Josh Holloway and The Walking Dead's Sarah Wayne Callies.
Colony is a drama set in the very near future Los Angeles, centering on one family's struggle to survive and bring liberty back to an alien occupied city. While some choose to collaborate with the occupation and benefit from the new order, others rebel, and they suffer the consequences.
Cuse, Holloway, and Callies all appeared at the TCA Press Tour to answer questions about their new series, and about how the show might compare to the likes of Lost and The Walking Dead.

Prison Break: Sarah Wayne Callies Hopes to Return
Few details are known yet about the return of Prison Break except that series creator Paul Scheuring is currently working on a script and FOX seems confident it is very likely going to get ordered directly to series.
While we know Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are attached to return, no other casting has been revealed, but one big part of the show during its original run was Sara Tancredi, played by Sarah Wayne Callies.
Callies, who would go on to star in The Walking Dead after Prison Break, has a new series, Colony, coming in January on USA, from Lost’s Carlton Cuse. Promoting Colony today at the TCA press tour, Callies was asked how she might juggle both that series and Prison Break and her first reply was, “No one’s asked me yet, so I don’t know!”
