The Best Destiny Cosplayers From PAX 2015

PAX is more than just a collection of fans of all things gaming related, it's also a place for cosplayers to show off their craft. This year's Seattle event had a great collection of Destiny cosplayers showing off their craftsmanship as well as their affinity for the Activision shooter.

We collected the best of the PAX 2015 Destiny cosplayers into a slideshow for you to enjoy.

Destiny's next big expansion, The Taken King, is coming out September 15, but unfortunately The Taken King won't have a raid on Day 1. The Taken King director Luke Smith told us Bungie does have a plan in place for when it's going to be available, and promised to give gamers a heads-up before its release.

New Gotham Clip: Barbara Meets Jerome (Or Joker?)

A new clip from Season 2 of Gotham has been released.

The clip is set inside Arkham Asylum, where Jerome (Cameron Monaghan) introduces himself to new inmate, Barbara Kean (Erin Richards). We know that Jerome is set to be a recurring villain in the second season, but it's also been teased that he could in fact be the Joker. Check out the clip below.

A trailer FOX released last month was also teasing the rise of the Joker.

We even asked executive producer Bruno Heller at Comic-Con this year, but he remained tight-lipped about Jerome and if he truly is Joker. However he did say that "life is all about curveballs and this show is about that." He also added "the story we're telling is absolutely the story of how the Joker came to be."

There Might be Two American Horror Story Seasons in 2016

It's possible that there will be two seasons of American Horror Story coming in 2016.

According to Entertainment Weekly, show creator Ryan Murphy said that "next year we might do a fall American Horror Story and a spring... we have to decide."

"We're doing something that we’ve never done before on the show where we’re doing two different groups of writers rooms," said Murphy recently, of the currently filming season, American Horror Story: Hotel - noting this new system could allow for a quicker turnaround between seasons. "Some of our writers will be bouncing around but a whole different group coming in late August. The next thing we’re crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark.”

Longmire: Season 4 is coming to Netflix on September 10, with the story picking up moments after the Season 3 finale. The first three seasons are available for streaming right now if you need to catch up.

Last month Netflix released a teaser and a short clip of the upcoming season.

Forza 6 Might Erase Forza 5 From Existence

You can criticize Forza Motorsport 5 for taking a step backwards in the content department, but you’d only be half-justified. Sure, it originally cost the same $60 that both the meatier Forza 4 did and that Forza Motorsport 6 will, but in its moment – i.e. as a day-one launch title for a brand-new console – Forza 5 delivered a hell of a game, even if it was a bit light on cars and tracks.

I spent two hours playing the final build of Forza 6, and I’m already reasonably confident that I’ll never want or need to play Forza 5 again. The new entry from Turn 10 Studios, which takes the baton back from last year’s stellar open-world, more arcadey Forza Horizon 2 by Playground Games, includes everything Forza 5 did, up to and including DLC tracks like Long Beach and Nürburgring. Six opens much the same way Five did, with the game walking you through the early stages of the career mode. You’ll get a turn in the new cover car, the 2017 Ford GT reboot, before picking out the first ride for your own garage. I chose a Nissan 350Z and went to work.

All Four Mad Max Films Now Available on Steam

Valve has confirmed that high definition versions of all four Mad Max films are now available to purchase on Steam. The announcement coincides with the release of Avalanche Studios’ Mad Max, which we reviewed earlier today.

The game and films are available now in a variety of packages and price points to Steam gamers in the US, Canada, Russia, Brazil, South Korea and “much of Europe”. Valve notes that fans in Spain, Germany, Norway, France, and the UK (September 21) who grab any of the packages now can access the original trio of films immediately and Mad Fax: Fury Road later in September when the film is scheduled to be released in their territory. In a mildly ironic twist, none of the films appear to be available on Steam’s Australian storefront, the series’ country of origin. Trying to reach the purchase page from Australia simply results in a warning that “This item is currently unavailable in your region”.

Grand Theft Auto 5 PC Mods Adds Imperial Star Destroyer, Landspeeder

Modders have added  iconic Star Wars vehicles, such as the Imperial Star Destroyer and landspeeder, into the world of Grand Theft Auto 5.

The playable Star Destroyer by modder JJxORACLE, modeled by jarjarthomas, replaces the game’s blimp. The modder plans on scaling the Star Destroyer to its full size of 1,600 meters if the game engine can support it. The modder notes that the Star Destroyer mod may be taxing on some hardware configurations and players need to be offline to use it.

TwoDynamic’s video below, via Reddit and VG247, showcases the Star Destroyer and a X-34 Landspeeder by modder KAFAROS in action.
