The Flash Casts Tony Todd as the Villain Zoom
The Flash has reportedly cast Tony Todd as the voice of Zoom for its second season.
Variety reports that the Candyman star will only be the voice, starting with the second episode of the season. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg explained that the Zoom suit is going to look "more organic" and will have no skin showing, so the real identity of the character will be kept under wraps for much of the season.
“Part of the mystery of the season is who or what is underneath the Zoom outfit, and so we wanted to do something like James Earl Jones as Darth Vader--this iconic voice coming out of this mask," he said. "Last year, we thought of the Reverse-Flash as a speed warrior; this year, Zoom is like a speed demon, and no one does demon-voice better than Tony Todd.”
Torchlight 3 Isn’t Happening Because Dev Is ‘Burnt Out’
Torchlight developer Runic Games is making Hob instead of Torchlight 3 for a couple reasons. Most notably, the team is "burnt out," and wanted to make something new. The other reason? Runic has no interest in trying to compete with Blizzard’s Diablo 3.
"We’re just burnt out," Runic Games President Marsh Lefler told IGN when asked why the team made Hob instead of Torchlight 3. "Let’s admit it, Diablo 3 is killing it right now. Diablo 3 is a really fun game. Not that Torchlight 2 isn’t a fun game, it is, but it’s just different. For us to try to compete with Diablo 3? We weren’t trying to compete before."
Lefler added that Diablo and Torchlight were different kinds of action RPGs, and that after a decade of making dungeon-crawlers, "we just needed a little break" to focus on "something we love" that’s even more different.
Why High Profile Movies Are Switching From Netflix to Hulu
In a blog post from Netflix this past weekend, the company's Chief Content Officer, Ted Sarandos, explained that as they turn their focus to original movies (that will sometimes be released simultaneously in theaters) - from creators such as Brad Pitt, Ricky Gervais, Judd Apatow, Angelina Jolie, Sofia Coppola and Adam Sandler - they've decided not to renew their agreement in the U.S. with Epix, the cable network. Which means that "some high profile movies including Hunger Games: Catching Fire, World War Z and Transformers: Age of Extinction, will expire at the end of September in the US."

This weekend, those who have not played Evolve on either PC or Xbox One will be able to access the game's content for free.

Disney Infinity Appeals Equally to Male and Female Gamers
The Disney Infinity franchise appeals to both boys and girls at an equal rate. According to a report at The Wall Street Journal, the demographic split for players of Disney's toys-to-life franchise is almost 50/50.
Disney's John Vignocchi told the Journal the demographic split between male and female gamers was initially expected to skew around 70% male and 30% female, but the actual numbers showed an even split.
Vignocchi credited the appeal to young females being attributed to "Disney’s IP treasure chest of powerful and strong female characters."

A photo snapped of the Daredevil: Season 2 set teases a new romance for Matt Murdock himself.
Possible spoilers follow!
Comic Book Movie noticed a tweet that captured a picture of Murdock (Charlie Cox) walking hand in hand with Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) on the set. While Page and Foggy Nelson (Elden Hensen) spent more time together in the premiere season, this image might point to a new relationship brewing between Page and Murdock.

Nuketown Is Coming Back in Black Ops 3
The fan favorite Call of Duty multiplayer map, Nuketown, is coming back in Black Ops 3.
Called "Nuk3town," the map will be free for those who pre-order the game for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out the concept art below.
"The Nuketown maps have a special place in Call of Duty multiplayer history and we can't wait to build upon that heritage in Black Ops 3," said Mark Lamia, Head of Treyarch. "We carefully adapted the design of the map to make sure that it fit with our new movement system, but also to make sure that we retained the spirit and the fun that made fans fall in love with it in the first place.
NASA Seals Six People in a Dome for Mars Research
In an effort to simulate the conditions in which astronauts would have to live during a hypothetical mission to Mars, NASA has organized and started an experiment that locks away six people in a dome for the space of a year.
The experiment will study the participant's reactions to isolation, providing them shelter in a place with limited privacy and no fresh air or fresh food.
The BBC reports all six willing participants - an Astrobiologist, physicist, pilot, architect, journalist, and soil scientist - will live together in this 36x20 space beneath a barren volcano in Hawaii. To maintain the simulation, each of the participants must completely suit up before venturing outside.
