Nintendo Reveals Restructuring Plans
Following the announcement of a new Nintendo president, Tatsumi Kimishima, and new roles for Genyo Takeda and Shigeru Miyamoto, the company is undergoing massive corporate restructuring.
The company released the following charts documenting the personnel changes in management, which go into effect on September 16th.
Oliver Stone’s Snowden Delayed to 2016
Snowden, the Oliver Stone-directed drama starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley, won't come out now until 2016.
Open Road Films delayed the movie beyond its initial Christmas Day debut, and hasn't yet revealed a new release date or the reason why it's been pushed. According to THR, inside sources claim the film still isn't finished.
Snowden centers around Gordon-Levitt's portrayal of whistleblower Edward Snowden, who leaked classified NSA documents to the media in 2013.
McAdams Confirms She’ll Star in Doctor Strange
Actress Rachel McAdams will indeed star in Marvel's Doctor Strange movie.
The True Detective and Mean Girls star confirmed her involvement in the comic book movie while doing press at the Toronto International Film Festival, reports TheWrap.
McAdams was first linked with the unspecified female lead in Doctor Strange back in July. There's no definitive word on who McAdams will play in the Scott Derrickson-directed film.
Star Wars Mobile Game Shows Hoth Post-Return of the Jedi
After the Empire obliterated the Rebel Alliance's secret base on the snow world of Hoth, the story never took us back. The Empire Strikes Back left us with bigger concerns. But Star Wars: Uprising -- a Diablo-like mobile RPG set after Return of the Jedi -- lets players return to Hoth and see what's changed since the battle concluded Luke left for Dagobah.
It is a ravaged wasteland inhabited by scavengers, more Wampas, and the ruins of Echo Base and the Rebellion/Empire's shattered vehicles.

Dark Cloud 2, Ape Escape 2 Get PS4 Ratings in Europe
A select few PlayStation 2 Classics ported to the PlayStation 3 have been rated by the Pan European Game Information Board for the PlayStation 4, a move that could indicate Sony's plans to bring these games from its last-gen console to the PS4.
The games that received PS4 ratings are Dark Cloud 2, Ape Escape 2, and Twisted Metal: Black. These ratings were spotted by Gematsu, who also points out that Twisted Metal: Black has been available as a PS2 classic in Europe since September 2012.
If Sony is planning on carrying over its line of PS2 Classics to its current-gen console, we could hear more about it during the Sony press conference in Japan tomorrow. Watch Sony's conference live on IGN.
Nintendo’s New President Elected to 1-Year Term
Nintendo's newly appointed president Tatsumi Kimishima has only been elected for a single year. Kimishima revealed the length of his term in an interview with Japanese newspaper The Nikkei.
Kimishima also said he was not given any instructions from late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata. Iwata died on July 11 from complications arising from a growth on his bile duct.
The interview, highlights of which were translated by Twitter user Dr. Serkan Toto, also shed light on the company's future plans. Its smartphone and IP-related tasks won't be changing, Kimishima said, but the company's task is now to develop new businesses. What this means remains to be seen.
The Angry Birds Movie Looks Hilarious
In case you missed it, Angry Birds – one of the most successful video games in history – is being turned into a movie. And based on the footage IGN viewed today, that movie is going to look gorgeous, and be very, very funny.
Clips were screened from throughout the film in London this morning, so we’ll try to avoid spoilers, but the animated film is basically an origin story, explaining how the conflict between the flightless birds and green pigs began, and why those birds are so damn angry.
Nintendo Assigns New Roles for Miyamoto, Takeda
Nintendo's Board of Director's meeting today has given new roles and titles to several key players within the company. Most notably, Genyo Takeda and Shigeru Miyamoto have been given the new titles of "Technology Fellow" and "Creative Fellow," respectively.
Both Takeda and Miyamoto were previously Senior Managing Directors, acting in the company's lead role after the untimely death of Satoru Iwata. Nintendo has appointed a new president, Tatsumi Kimishima.
Takeda is perhaps best know as the creator of Punch-Out!! and the StarTropics franchise, while Miyamoto is arguably the most recognizable game designer of all time.
Inside Out Beats Furious 7 at the Box Office
Inside Out has now grossed $351.5 million at the domestic box office, replacing Furious 7 as the third highest domestic grossing film of 2015.
According to Box Office Mojo, Furious 7 grossed $351 million domestically.
Inside Out is still behind the top two earners though, with Avengers: Age of Ultron making $458.4 million at the domestic box office, and Jurassic World grossing $648.9 million.
Pixar's fifteenth feature stars the likes of Amy Poehler, Lewis Black, and Bill Hader, and follows the story of a young girl named Riley and her conflicting emotions after her big move to San Francisco.
Here Are the Latest Rock Band 4 Song Additions
Harmonix has announced some additional tracks to be included on the Rock Band 4 soundtrack.
There are only a few weeks to go until the October 6 release date, and these songs have been added to an ever-growing list.
