Facebook Is Working on a Dislike Button

Facebook is finally working on a "dislike" button.

"People have asked about the 'dislike' button for many years, and probably hundreds of people have asked about this," said Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg (via CNBC), "and today is a special day because today is the day that I actually get to say we are working on it, and are very close to shipping a test of it."

He added that the goal is to let users express empathy: "Not every moment is a good moment."

"We need to figure out the right way to do it so it ends up being a force for good, not a force for bad," he continued. "Everyone feels like they can just push the Like button, and that's an important way to sympathize or empathize with someone. But there are times when you may want the simplicity of a one-click response but a "like" doesn't feel appropriate."

Latest GeForce Experience Beta Introduces Remote Co-Op

PC players with machines that utilize Nvidia's GeForce graphics cards have a new feature to play with today, and it comes in the form of GameStream Co-op.

As the name implies, it allows those with the right setup to stream their gameplay to a friend over the Internet. At that point, the other player can take over and play the game themselves, join in for a co-op session, or simply watch the action unfold (complete with integrated voice chat). The feature comes as part of the latest GeForce Experience Beta, so expect some issues here and there.

Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice Delayed

Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice will not release this year as previously planned, as SEGA has pushed the handheld game back to 2016.

SEGA's Aaron Webber detailed the delay on the SEGA Blog, saying Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice needs more development time. "In order to make sure the game has the time and polish needed, we’re moving it out into 2016," he said. "No exact window from us, just yet — it’ll be ready when it’s ready!"

In June, SEGA unveiled Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice. Sanzaru Games, who previously worked on Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal, is returning to develop the Nintendo 3DS game.

Amiibo Support Coming to 3DS Mega Man Legacy Collection

The semi-difficult to find Mega Man amiibo will unlock new challenge modes in the upcoming 3DS version of Mega Man Legacy Collection. The challenge modes don't yet exist, however. Capcom is holding a contest where Mega Man fans can submit their own challenges.

The best 10 player-created challenges will find their way into the final version of the game, all of which will be unlockable with the Mega Man amiibo. The player-created challenges will compliment the existing challenge modes, rather than replace them.

The Mega Man amiibo is classified as "rare" in our amiibo Rarity Guide. That means there's a very slim possibility you could stumble across one in the wild. The chance to unlock extra challenge modes in the 3DS version of Mega Man Legacy Collection should sweeten the pot for anyone on the fence about hunting one down, but beyond that functionality it's a really nice amiibo.

Apple Is ‘Looking at’ Ways to Remove Pre-Installed iOS Apps

There's an ever-growing list of apps on iOS devices that get placed in a "junk" folder, never to be looked at again. Currently, there's no way to permanently remove them, but Apple is looking into it.

In a brief interview with Buzzfeed, Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that the act of deleting these particular apps is a slightly bigger issue than some may think; removing, say, the Apple Watch app could cause unwanted issues with some other part of the iPhone/iPad.
