Gambit Loses Its Director
Director Rupert Wyatt has departed 2016's Gambit film starring Channing Tatum as the titular Cajun mutant.
"I was very much looking forward to working with my friend Channing and the team at Fox, but regrettably a push in the start date now conflicts with another project," the Rise of the Planet of the Apes director said in a statement. "I thank them for the opportunity, and I know that Gambit will make a terrific film."
As for what caused the cited start date to change, The Hollywood Reporter reports that it was either a change in script that caused the budget to get bigger and the shoot to extend, or that the shooting schedule around Mardi Gras caused the reshuffling.

Microsoft Shutting Down Zune Services Soon
Microsoft is shutting down all of its Zune services in November.
On a company support page, the company reveals that on November 15, people will no longer be able to stream or add new media from the Zune music service. There's also the warning that anything containing DRM may not play if its respective license can’t be renewed. Aside from that, however, the Zune will still function as intended, and all of its content will be left intact.
As for existing Zune music subscriptions, they'll be converted to Groove Music Passes, unless someone decides to cancel beforehand or wait until their current subscription ends; in some cases, you'll be eligible for a refund. Those that choose to use Groove Music, and provided they're 3-month or yearly members, will see their subscriptions reset between October 15 and November 15.
