It’s Time to Celebrate Batman Day
Today is Batman Day! Last year's Batman Day was a huge success for DC Comics as they celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Caped Crusader, so they decided to make it an annual event. Hey, we're not complaining, because the more chances we get to express our love for the Dark Knight, the better.

New Marvel’s Jessica Jones Teaser
After an intriguing premiere date announcement teaser debuted a couple weeks back, we now have the first actual live-action footage from Marvel's Jessica Jones.
The new teaser popped up on a Spanish-language Marvel Facebook page, and while there is no dialogue, the single shot still has some notable info to tell audiences about the life Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones is living - and what she's capable of doing.

First Star Wars Additions at Disneyland Opening Soon
Last month, Disney revealed plans to bring Star Wars into its family of various theme parks in a bigger way, and the company has now announced the first few additions are opening surprisingly soon at California's original Disneyland, on November 16th.
Among these attractions are Star Wars Launch Bay, where guests can visit with Star Wars characters, see special exhibits and get peeks at the upcoming film The Force Awakens; an upgrade to the popular Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, where the classic ride will now have a scene borrowing elements from The Force Awakens; and Hyperspace Mountain, a re-imagining/temporary re-theming of the classic ride Space Mountain ride as an X-Wing battle in space.
Millar on Deciding Colin Firth’s Role in Kingsman Sequel

Millar has previously said that they want actor Colin Firth to be a part of the sequel, but seeing how his character Galahad died after the movie’s most insane, visceral action scene, it’s been unclear exactly how he would fit into the next installment. Here's what Millar had to say on the matter.
“That's the conversation everyone's having right now, because part of what made that movie work is Colin. Colin's fantastic, it was a two-hander, that film. You also want to have the integrity of the story, so if you are bringing him back, it has to make sense. That's where it is at at the moment. Beats of the story have been done.
Marvel’s Phase 2: Everything That Happened
With the release of Ant-Man, Phase 2 of the Marvel movies is now complete. So let’s catch up on all the major happenings in this stage of the MCU…

Starting with sequels for Iron Man (3), Thor (The Dark World), and Captain America (Winter Soldier), Phase 2 then introduced the insta-classic Guardians of the Galaxy, before reuniting the Avengers for Age of Ultron and then finally ending on the tiniest of notes with Ant-Man. Read on for a recap of all the major plot points hit upon in Marvel’s Phase 2.
Things kicked off with Iron Man 3, where Tony Stark was still reeling from the events of the first Avengers movie. It seems fighting an alien horde, flying through a wormhole, and almost sacrificing yourself via nuclear explosion takes a toll. So he’s built a ton of new Iron Man suits because, you know, insomnia.
Mark Millar on Making Civil War Work on Screen
During a sitdown interview with Mark Millar about his comics Jupiter’s Circle and Chrononauts -- keep an eye out for the full interview soon -- IGN asked Millar about next year’s Captain America: Civil War movie. Millar wrote the Civil War comic book (with art by Steve McNiven), and while he isn’t a creative consultant to Marvel Studios like he is for Fox’s X-Men/Fantastic Four movies, he still gave us some insight on how he thinks the story would best be translated to the big screen.
“The important thing really is the Superhero Registration Act essentially. It has nothing to do with secret identities. Weirdly, people get really hung up on the whole secret identity thing. When I was writing that book, I was thinking about having the superheroes having to expose their identities and get brought under government legislation, and then I said to Marvel, "Who's got a secret identity?" and they said, “No one.” There's basically Spider-Man. Everyone, even Daredevil, had given up their secret identity at this point. I was like, alright, so I made it about something else.

Force Awakens Card Might Reveal Big Spoiler
A set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens trading cards might have spilled a big character reveal.
Warning: Potential spoilers below.
CBM (via Latino Review) reports that a set of character cards for the film feature icons that indicate that character's faction alignment, like Sith or Bounty Hunters. Finn (John Boyega) is listed as a Rebel, while Rey (Daisy Ridley) is listed as both a Rebel and... a Jedi.
Millar on How Old Man Logan Works Without the Avengers
During a sitdown interview with Mark Millar about his comics Jupiter’s Circle and Chrononauts -- keep an eye out for the full interview soon -- IGN asked Millar about the third and final Wolverine movie coming from Fox. Being a comic book veteran with numerous hits under his belt, Millar is a creative consultant for Fox and has insight on their upcoming projects. He wrote the fan-favorite Wolverine: Old Man Logan comic, so we asked him about the possibility of that being the third Wolverine movie, and then he went on to explain how Fox could make that story work -- name-dropping two well-known mutants in the process -- even though the movie can’t use major Avengers characters that appeared in the story because they belong to Marvel Studios.
Mighty No. 9 Gets New Release Date
Over 2 years since the project was first announced by Keiji Inafune, Mighty No. 9 will be coming to consoles and PC on February 9, 2016 in North America and February 12 worldwide.
Mighty No. 9 is Inafune's spiritual successor to the Mega Man games he created years ago for Capcom. Mighty No. 9 was first announced in August 2013 at PAX Prime. The game went on to meet its Kickstarter goal in just 48 hours, helped along by a clever announcement trailer that paid homage to Mega Man set pieces and characters.
In April, Comcept announced Mighty No. 9 would release in September 2015, but by July, pre-orders for the Mighty No. 9 signature edition were suddenly cancelled. At Gamescom in August, Comcept officially announced Mighty No. 9 was being delayed due to "bugs and issues pertaining to the online features."
