Sennheiser’s Orpheus Headphones Return With a $50,000 Price Tag
Sennheiser's Orpheus HE90 headphones were once called "the best headphones in the world," but the German company has finally created a successor to the name after 25 years. They will cost $50,000, however.
The new Orpheus headphones posed something of a challenge to Sennheiser's engineers, and it took them nearly a decade to modernize and perfect the hardware's electrostatic design. The end result is a pair of headphones made up of over 6,000 components all carefully selected to provide the best audio experience possible - from the tube and transistor amplifiers, to the spring-loaded, marble housing that prevents any noise caused by the headphones themselves.
10 Things You Forgot About Pokemon’s First Episode
Eighteen years, 18 seasons and 721 Pokemon later, it's an understatement to say that the Pokemon anime series has come a long way since its premiere in 1997 in Japan (1998 in the United States). But every story needs to start somewhere, even if the tale evolves along the way, and for Pokemon it started with "I Choose You!"
Despite watching and rewatching the adventures of Ash Ketchum and his best pal Pikachu over the years, there probably are a few elements of that first episode that aren't quite what you remember. Here's a trip down Nostalgia Lane to highlight the 10 moments you might have forgotten about, listed in the order they appear in the episode.
Everyone remembers Ash was just a kid when he started his Pokemon Trainer journey, but did you remember that he was only 10 years old? No wonder his mom was a bit nervous about sending him out solo -- especially since his primary Pokemon had a tendency to electrocute everyone in sight. If she'd known that he'd become the target of a criminal organization and nearly die multiple times, maybe she would have kept him at home for a few more years.
Jailbreak For Apple’s iOS 9 Worth $1 Million
A team of hackers has successfully cracked Apple's iOS 9, claiming a $1 million USD prize as a result. The prize was offered by security company Zerodium, with the announcement of the jailbreak made by the company on its Twitter account.
To qualify for the prize, the remote, untethered jailbreak of the device needed to" lead to and allow a remote, privileged, and persistent installation" of an arbitrary app on a fully updated iOS 9 device, according to the terms of the bounty on the Zerodium website.
The attack needed to be executed via webpage or SMS/MMS and needed to be a full jailbreak to qualify for the reward. Only one team made it before the October 31 deadline, but Zerodium founder Chaouki Bekrar told Wired another team made a partial jailbreak and "may qualify for a partial bounty."

Development on Fallout 4 began before either the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One had specs available to Bethesda.
