McConaughey to Star in Sing From Makers of Minions

Universal Pictures has renamed its previously untitled Illumination Entertainment project to Sing, which will be releasing on Friday, December 21, 2016.

Illumination has previously worked on Despicable Me, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax and Minions (which is the second biggest animated movie of all time). The Secret Life of Pets will release in summer next year, followed by Sing in December.

Sing stars Matthew McConaughey as Buster Moon, a "dapper Koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times." Buster has one chance to restore his theater to its "former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition."

Harrison Ford Still Hopes to Play Indiana Jones Again

Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford has made it clear he's ready and willing to reprise his role as the adventure-seeking action hero for the series' next installment.

"Oh, yeah. Yeah, I’d love to do another Indiana Jones," he told Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview. "A character that has a history and a potential, kind of a rollicking good movie ride for the audience, Steven Spielberg as a director — what’s not to like?"

Ford, who's also famous for his iconic role as Star Wars' lovable smuggler Han Solo, is not afraid to admit he's far more partial to Jones than he is the character of Solo. As such, it should come as no surprise that the actor, who's set to star in J.J. Abrams' highly anticipated sci-fi epic, is also eager to return to Indy.

Star Wars Rebels: Delving Into Hera’s History

This week’s new Star Wars Rebels episode puts the spotlight on Hera, as the Ghost’s pilot is dispatched on a dangerous mission, bringing her into contact with an eccentric ship engineer.

Last month, as Rebels’ second season was debuting, I sat down with the voice of Hera, Vanessa Marshall, to discuss her character’s take on the changes occurring around the Ghost crew, as they join the larger Rebel alliance and make new allies. Marshall, a huge Star Wars fan herself, also discussed what it’s been like becoming a part of this franchise and to now find herself working on both Rebels and the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series (where she voices Gamora) simultaneously.

IGN: In Season 1, they were this little scrappy group and now they’re part of the larger machine and we've seen some of the friction that can cause. How much does Hera try to keep Kanan from freaking out, for lack of a better term?

Halo 5 Concept Art Sampling Revealed

Before a pixel is ever put to a screen, a game goes through a paper design. This includes all the game's art. And now that Halo 5: Guardians has been released, developer 343 Industries has kindly given us a look at some of the concept art used to inspire and set the visual tone for Master Chief's latest adventure, complete with notes from 343's artists.

343: Locke went through several iterations to get to the final look. The goal with Locke was to make him feel like a jet fighter, very aerodynamic and stealth oriented. His armor was meant to feel like a prototype, much of it is left as unpainted metal, with part and manufacturing numbers visible. 343: Locke went through several iterations to get to the final look. The Finest Hours: Chris Pine on a Different Era of Hero

We were among the select media outlets invited to the Quincy, Mass., set of Disney's The Finest Hours almost exactly a year ago today to observe filming and chat with director Craig Gillespie and his cast about making the fact-based maritime drama. The movie, which stars Chris Pine, Ben Foster and Casey Affleck, sails into theaters in Digital 3D, Real D 3D and IMAX 3D on January 29, 2016.

Here's the official synopsis for the film, which is adapted from the 2009 book by Casey Sherman and Michael J. Tougias and recalls the true story of the most daring rescue mission in the history of the U.S. Coast Guard:
