Olivia Wilde Responds to Those Captain Marvel Rumors

Actress Olivia Wilde says she hasn't been contacted about playing Captain Marvel.

Wilde denied the rumors on The Late Late Show with James Corden, via Hypable. She denied any connection, but certainly left the door open to the possibility in the future.

"No!" she said when asked about playing the role. However, she said she "was thrilled" at the rumors. "I think that would be amazing, but I had nothing to do with it."

Captain Marvel is slated for March 8, 2019, after being pushed in favor of an Ant-Man sequel. Rumors have been flying regarding the casting, from Rebecca Ferguson to MMA fighter Ronda Rousey, who has personally campaigned for the role.

Razer and Blizzard Announce Overwatch Peripherals

Razer and Blizzard Entertainment have announced a suite of PC gaming peripherals based on Blizzard's upcoming team-based shooter Overwatch.

The official Overwatch gaming peripheral collection includes themed, enhanced versions of its Death Adder Chroma gaming mouse, Black Widow Chroma keyboard and Goliathus Extended mouse mat.

The Overwatch gaming mouse is an ergonomic, right-handed design with Razer's customisable Chroma lighting, programmable buttons, on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment, and more. It will cost $80 USD / €100 EU.

An all-new teaser for the eleventh season of FX's comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is offering fans a glimpse of what to expect when it premeires early next year.

Director on Why Steve Jobs Movie Flopped

Despite critical acclaim, Universal's Steve Jobs film underperformed, and director Danny Boyle has revealed why he believes that was the case.

In an interview with BBC (via The Hollywood Reporter), Boyle said he thinks the studio's release strategy was the reason for the film's limited success, having jumped the gun on a widespread launch.

"It's very easy in hindsight, but I think it's probably that we released it too wide soon," he said.

Universal recently dropped the film from its wide release of 2,400 screens to just 400 screens as of last weekend. Steve Jobs has made roughly $17 million to date, roughly half of its reported production budget.

Former WWE Heavyweight Champion Joins 5 Star Wrestling

Rey Mysterio, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, will be featured as a playable character in the upcoming PlayStation 4 title 5 Star Wrestling: ReGenesis, Serious Parody Ltd. has announced.

Top 25 Holiday Movies of All Time

Here at IGN, we like to argue; not about who tracked mud through the kitchen, or which of the editors used all of the toilet paper in the restroom. We like to argue about movies… which is better than which and why. Unfortunately, after the umpteenth shouting match, the higher-ups decided it would be a whole lot cooler to put all of this arguing to positive use.

So in honor of the holiday season, we're focusing today on Holiday Movies. Although many may have a preconceived notion of what such a film might be (Christmastime flicks), we opened our minds to all the films that take place on or during holidays.

Please note that we only considered feature films so all TV specials and made-for-TV movies didn't qualify for our list.

Iron Banner to Return in Next Destiny Update

The Iron Banner is returning to Destiny next week in an all-new update.

Among the changes in the forthcoming update are tweaks to the rewards gained and the switch to Clash. According to developer Bungie's blog, this is the first time the Iron Banner has used Clash.

Senior Designer Derek Carroll took to the blog to explain what players can anticipate as part of the switch.

"I’d expect to see a bit less Super ability usage, and a lot more shooting across the board, but good teams will work together and hold territory even without the scoring incentives that Control provided," he said.
