Christopher Reeve’s Superman Costume Up for Auction

The Superman costume worn by the late Christopher Reeve in the classic 1978 DC film is up for auction.

Bidding is now open at Nate D. Sanders Auctions, with the minimum bid set at $50,000. According to the site's description, this is Reeve's "muscle tunic" that was "used in the flight scenes" and "features two stitched holes on the sides, used to attach the flying harness."

The auction will close on November 19 at 5pm PT. There are currently no bids on the outfit, which, Entertainment Weekly notes, was designed by Oscar-winning costume designer Yvonne Blake.

Wrestling Wrap Up: Final Four Set for Survivor Series

With Del Rio going over Kalisto, Owens taking out Neville, Ambrose pulling out a win over Ziggler, and Reigns toppling Cesaro, we've got our final four combatants for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Title. As well as more conformation that this tournament is playing things very safe. Just as everyone starts to throw a silver lining on Rollins' knee injury - by thinking that it'd be a great time for WWE to do something drastic and unexpected - the WWE goes the boring, fartmouth route.

Universal Monsters Reboot to Explore ‘Family Identity’

Universal Pictures has shared new details on its plans for its classic monsters franchise, confirming that its upcoming slate of films will feature a shared universe that explore themes of family and personal identity.

Screenwriters Alex Kurtzman (Transformers) and Chris Morgan (Furious 7) are on board to reboot the classic monsters movies for the modern era, with The Mummy set to begin filming sometime next year. In an interview with Variety, the pair discussed their plans for the future of the franchise.

According to Morgan, they'll be "exploring issues of family identity and questions of, 'Where do I belong in the world?'" He also noted they're not looking to create a "heightened world," as he believes moviegoers are ready for something different after seeing so many comic book films.

Warner Bros. is reportedly close to casting some of the roles in the long-gestating Justice League Dark movie, also known as Dark Universe.

According to Latino-Review, Warners is looking for an “A-List talent” to play John Constantine. True Detective’s Colin Farrell, who also co-stars in the studio's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, appears to be a frontrunner for the part. Ewan McGregor (Star Wars Prequel Trilogy) could also be up for the role.
