Elder Scrolls Online Orsinium DLC Hits Consoles

The second DLC pack for Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is now available on the console versions of the game.

The DLC contains over 20 hours of new content, a new solo arena challenge called "The Maelstrom Arena," two new public dungeons, Old Orsinium and Rkindaleft, along with Orsinium-specific gear, crafting items, and other rewards. Orsinium, the land after which the DLC is named, is the ancestral land of the Orcs.

The DLC is available to anyone with an active ESO Plus membership. Otherwise, it can be purchased at the Crown Store for 3,000 crowns.

The DLC is ESO's largest to date, according to Bethesda when it outlined details of the Orisinium DLC back in October. Players on PC have been enjoying the expanded content since November 2. Earlier this year, Bethesda launched the Imperial City DLC for both PC and console versions of the game.

The Bastard Executioner Cancelled by FX

FX drama The Bastard Executioner has been cancelled after just one season.

According to Variety, The Bastard Executioner's creator Kurt Sutter said that "the numbers just didn't sustain the cost of the show, quite frankly... It’s all math at the end of the day. We couldn’t establish that core audience that allows you to figure out your advertising paradigm and whether or not the show is affordable.”

Sutter has taken out an ad in Variety which thanks the cast, crew, and the production company Imagine Television.

He said that the reason The Bastard Executioner didn't perform well was because of its "dense mythology... It was historically based. I do think they're harder to plug into." However, he said that he "wouldn't have done anything differently," adding, "I love this story."

“As you may have already seen by reading and watching the many previews for Deus Ex: Mankind, our aim is for it to be a worthy successor to Human Revolution, and to improve upon that game in every way possible. I know that expectations are extremely high, and we not only want to meet those expectations, but exceed them,” Eidos Montreal's head of studio David Anfossi said in a statement.
