Fantastic Four 2 Disappears From Fox Release Schedule

20th Century Fox has removed Fantastic Four 2 from its schedule.

The news comes from Box Office Mojo, which notes that its old release date - June 9th, 2017 - has disappeared just months after Fox's fourth failed stab at the Marvel franchise.

In other 20th Century Fox news, its adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express is now due to hit theaters November 11th, 2017. This will be the fourth major film or TV adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express, and is set to be directed by Kenneth Branagh, the Marvel movie veteran behind Thor.

Suicide Squad: How They Made The Joker’s Car

Want to know how the neon-lit, magenta hot rod Joker will be riding in Suicide Squad was made? Apparently, it's not that hard.

Fox 13 News tracked down the mad genius behind Jared Leto's Jokermobile, seen in Suidice Squad's slick first trailer. Florida native Matt McEntegart is an independent designer of car kits that can be built on the frame of an Infinity G-35 frame to create the tricked-out, Lamborghini-on-acid supercar seen in the trailer. Dubbed "the Vaydor" (though, we have a hard time seeing a certain Sith Lord behind the wheel) McEntegart sells the kit for $16,000 and says the car can be put together for under $60,000. As long as you have the know-how to put a car together from scratch, that is. Check out the video below for the full story.

Project CARS DLC Support to Continue ‘Well Into 2016’

Project CARS developer Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed the team is fully committed to providing new updates and DLC for Project CARS “well into 2016” and has published a survey in order to collect opinions on the types of vehicles, tracks, and other features that players would most like to see in future updates.

The survey also contains questions about Project CARS 2, which Slightly Mad Studios revealed it has begun work on in June this year.

The questions in the survey cover a number of topics, ranging from the types of features fans find most important to the types of cars classes players would like to see more of. Several of the questions contain references to licences known to currently reside with other developers but it seems Slightly Mad is keen get a broad idea of what players crave most, regardless of whether it’s entirely possible at this stage.

The update also adds new tactical items (including “All-American Supply Drops” for a red, white, and blue mech when you need it, alien pheromones to distract xenomorphs, and performance enhancing ‘vitamins’ for a little extra oomph).

Ranking the Hunger Games Movies

As Gale told Katniss in the first Hunger Games film, "They just want a good show. That's all they want." And, overall, that's exactly what fans of the best-selling book series got with the movie adaptations.

Now that the cinematic saga of Katniss Everdeen is over, we look back at the blockbuster franchise and rank its four entries from the weakest film to the strongest.

How would you rank the Hunger Games movies? Let us know in the Comments!

Due to its narrow focus on Katniss and President Snow, Mockingjay, Part 2 missed the opportunity to land some of its more emotional and resonant scenes despite solid performances from its impressive cast. While Part 1 managed to elevate its source material and translate difficult concepts about war into an accessible story, Part 2 was so grounded in its need to respect the burden on Katniss's shoulders that it comes across as too somber and heavy. The story plays relatively straightforward, offering up a relatively satisfying conclusion to The Hunger Games that never inspires the same wonder as its more engaging predecessors.

Blomkamp’s Alien 5 Would Have Brought Back Newt

Neill Blomkamp's indefinitely delayed 'Alien 5' would have brought back kid survivor Newt, says actor Michael Biehn.

Biehn, whose character Corporal Hicks was featured in Blomkamp's early concept art, opened up to iconsoffright on the studio politics behind the delay and the film's basic plot outline.

"The basic idea is acting like Alien 3 and 4 never existed," Biehn said, before addressing Ridley Scott's Promethus 2 (now called Alien: Covenant). "I know Ridley Scott is doing his movie first and is going to be the executive producer on this one, so I’m really looking forward to that. I know that Ridley’s focus is on the second Prometheus and I’m sure that he and Fox both don’t want that and Neill’s movie to come out right next to each other, because they’re kind of two different worlds, with Aliens taking place thousands of years later, which is how they explained it all to me, but at the same time, they want to give them a similar feel."
