This Year’s Big Flash/Arrow Crossover is Here!
While guest appearances between the two shows have become fairly commonplace on Arrow and The Flash, this week sees the second true mega-crossover (a year after the first), with the shows bringing together a ton of the characters from both series for a two-night event.
I attended a screening of the crossover this week at the CW, and what sticks out first and foremost is that there is much more of a true unified story this time out, rather than the more standalone adventures that occurred last year that brought Team Arrow and Team Flash to each other’s cities for unrelated reasons (which happened to occur right on top of each other).
Discussing that fact, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg remarked, “I think this time around, given the success that we’ve had previously and how people are viewing this as much more of a collective, shared universe, that we felt emboldened. And our partners at CW and Warner Bros. were more supportive so we were able to really have a two-hour true event with one story and one villain and one storyline and not having to worry so much about the mechanics of how it would air.”
Dead or Alive Publisher Responds to Xtreme 3 Facebook Post
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 publisher Koei Tecmo has responded to IGN’s request for comment.
Said a Koei representative: “The comments recently made by an employee regarding Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 on the official Dead or Alive Facebook page only reflect that individual’s opinion and not the opinion or business strategy of Koei Tecmo Games.
“We remain focused on delivering the best in fighting entertainment to our fans around the world, while consciously respecting and strategising to support the different global audiences the Dead or Alive franchise lends itself to.
“Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 remains in development and is still planned for release in Japan and Asia only.”
SteamWorld Heist Release Date Announced
SteamWorld Heist will be launching on 3DS in the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on December 10.
The Japanese version will be coming later, and it will also be coming to all other current platforms at a later date.
As for the price, it will normally be $20 / €20 / £15, however from launch until December 31, it will be on sale for $17 / €17 / £12.
There will also be an exclusive Nintendo 3DS Home Menu theme available with every purchase from December 10 - 31.

Riot Outlines League of Legends Snowdown Event
Snowdown is League of Legends' winter event, and it's starting on December 10.
Riot has outlined what we can expect from this year's event. First of all we'll see some new Snow Day skins, as well as the return of some old ones. You'll be able to pick up Snow Day Syndra, Gnar, Bard, Malzahar, Singed and Ziggs for 975 Riot Points. You'll also be able to get cute new Summoner Icons and Ward Skins.
As for the actual game, all through Snowdown the minions will be sliding into lane with cold weather gear on.
We'll also be seeing the return of The Legend of the Poro King. In this game mode you have two Poro friends flanking you, granting you a summoner spell that will help you summon the Poro King. Once summoned, this super minion will heal your team, regenerate mana, and deal area of effect damage to enemies.
Capcom Registers Onimusha Trademark in Japan
New trademarks from a number of Japanese publishers have emerged.
Most notably, according to Hokanko (with a translation from Gematsu), Capcom has registered "Onimusha," sparking rumors of a new game, or perhaps a remaster of an existing game in the action-adventure series.
The last game in the series was Onimusha Soul, a browser game released in 2012 and ported to PS3 in 2014. However the last full console release was back in 2006 with Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams.
In other news, Kadokawa Games has trademarked "Novel 0," Sega has trademarked "Nurikeshi," and Konami has trademarked "Duel Links."

The reduction brings MGS V’s price down to £30 here in the UK. It’s worth remembering, the 12 Deals of Christmas deals only last two days, so in 48 hours expect a different game, and for MGS V to rocket back up to full price.
If you plan on picking up The Phantom Pain, it’s probably best to lay off the nukes for the time being. Currently, the MGS community is hard at work attempting to unlock the Nuclear Disarmament secret ending, in which every player per region needs to have nuclear-free bases.

Nintendo Account Rolls Out Across Japan
Nintendo has launched Nintendo Account across Japan.
The new service acts as a single log-in for all current and future Nintendo platforms, including the upcoming Nintendo NX.
If you have a Nintendo Network ID (NNID) signed up with a Japanese Wii U or 3DS, you can head on over to the newly launched website and register now, or register via your favourite social media platform. Nintendo Account will encompass your NNID, and link in with Facebook, Google Plus, and Twitter.
Pokken Tournament Character Reveals Coming Next Week
New characters for Pokken Tournament will be unveiled next Thursday, December 10.
According to a post on the game's official Twitter account (via GoNintendo), another playable fighter and a new support character will be joining the fray in Bandai Namco's Pokémon-centric fighting game.

Star Trek Into Darkness’ Writer Admits Khan Twist Was a ‘Mistake’
Remember how before Star Trek Into Darkness came out everybody knew Benedict Cumberbatch was playing Khan but the filmmakers refused to admit it? The film's screenwriter Damon Lindelof does, and he regrets the secrecy.
"When we did Star Trek Into Darkness for example, we decided that we weren’t going to tell people that Benedict Cumberbatch was playing Khan" Lindelof told Variety. "And that was a mistake, because the audience was like, “We know he’s playing Khan.” That was why it was a mistake. But J.J.
is telling us nothing about the new Star Wars movie and we love it. I’ve not come across a single person who’s like, “I wish I knew a little bit more.” We are like, ‘Thank God he’s protecting us from all the things that will be revealed in the movie theater.”
