George Miller's apocalyptic action film Mad Max: Fury Road is the best film of the year, according to The National Board of Review.

The group named Mad Max: Fury Road 2015 Best Film of the Year alongside other films in categories such as Best Director, Best Actor/Actress, and Best Screenplay.Below is the full list of winners:

Over 8 Million People Have Played Rocket League

More than 8 million people have played Rocket League on PlayStation 4 and PC, developer Psyonix has announced.

The company made the announcement on its Twitter account. Although the sports game may not have sold that many copies, as it was offered for free on PlayStation Plus, we do know that Rocket League sold over a million copies over the course of a month and a half after it released back in July.

Rocket League's latest piece of DLC, Chaos Run, is also available today for $4. The wasteland-themed pack includes two new battle cars and various customization options such as toppers, wheels and rocket trails.

Forza 6 December DLC Is Packed With Heavy Hitters

The December DLC for Forza Motorsport 6 has been unveiled, again featuring seven new vehicles that are new to the Forza series. It will be available for $7 USD (or free for Car Pass owners).

The 'Mobil 1 Car Pack' features another mixed assortment of cars from all corners of the world, including one of the most-requested cars by the Forza community to date: the 2015 Koenigsegg One:1 (pronounced 'one-to-one', the One:1 boasts 1341hp, can accelerate from 0 to 250 mph in just 20 seconds, and can theoretically reach a top speed of 273mph). Also included is the Bathurst-bred 1988 Holden VL Commodore Group A SV, the Le Mans winning 1963 Ferrari 250LM, the record-setting 1990 Chevrolet #30 Douglas Shierson Racing Lola T90/00, the IMSA dominating 1991 Mazda #62 Mazda Motorsport RX-7, the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupé, and the 1958 Plymouth Fury (made famous in the movie Christine).

Han Solo himself, Harrison Ford, has already seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens, while the rest of us have to wait a couple of more weeks. It's our lot in life.

But what did Ford think of the seventh installment in the Star Wars saga? He recently expressed his thoughts on Good Morning America (via Entertainment Weekly).

“It was great,” Ford said. “It’s a wonderful movie, it’s got great production values. It’s a real big movie, and I was delighted to see it.”

Deadpool opens in theaters on February 12, 2016, which is the perfect time for the smart-mouth superhero's big screen debut, according to leading man Ryan Reynolds. Andre Tricoteux joins Reynolds as Colossus, whose portrayal will draw heavily from the comics.

Fig Will Allow Anyone to Invest in Next Game

Crowdfunding startup Fig is going to allow anyone to invest in the next game on the platform.

Former Double Fine COO Justin Bailey launched Fig in August with this goal in mind, but so far through two projects, only accredited investors have been able to back a game. That will change with the third game on Fig, Bailey told Polygon.

Rumor: Next iPhone Won’t Have a Headphone Jack

The latest rumor surrounding Apple's next iPhone suggests the smartphone will do away with the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The Apple-focused, Japanese site Macotakara, citing a "reliable source," states the decision to remove the headphone jack will be a result of Apple trying to make the phone 1 mm thinner than the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

In place of the headphone jack will be an audio-enabled lightning port, which will allow owners to use the lightning-enabled earbuds that will come packed in. If anyone doesn't want to use those, however, they can always resort to bluetooth headphones, or invest in a converter.

Outlander: Season 2 Teaser Trailer Heads to Paris

Starz is kicking off its 25 Days of Outlander Offerings today with the release of a new teaser for Outlander's second season.

The trailer provides an early look at Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser's arrival in France, as the two fight to alter the course of history in order to save the future and prevent the extinction of the Scottish people. Check out the tease, courtesy of Starz, below.

Outlander stars Caitriona Balfe as a World War II combat nurse named Claire who's transported back in time to 1743, where her life intertwines with a Scottish warrior named Jamie (Sam Heughan).  In Season 2, the pair travel to Paris "hell-bent on infiltrating the Jacobite rebellion" and ending the battle of Culloden.

LittleBigPlanet 3 Gets Doctor Who Costumes in UK

LittleBigPlanet 3 is getting several Doctor Who-themed Costume Packs throughout the month of December in the UK, Sony has announced.

The Doctor Who 12th Doctor Costume Pack is available today and includes a costume for the 12th Doctor, as well as one for Clara Oswald, Half Face Man and a few others.

The next pack, which arrives on December 8, features costumes based on the 11th Doctor. Additionally, costume packs for the 10th and 4th Doctors are set to launch on December 15 and December 22, respectively.
