Halo Mythos Announced

A new hardcover book will help guide readers through the complex lore of Halo.

343 announced the book on the Halo Waypoint blog. It's titled Halo Mythos: A Guide to the Story of Halo, and the company is aiming to release it next October.

The blog is careful to note that this isn't a Halo encyclopedia. Instead it's a detailed walkthrough of expanded Halo fiction from 343 writers, which takes readers all the way from the Forerunners' conflict through Halo 5: Guardians. It promises a continuous narrative that will tie together pieces of the fiction from novels, comics, and live-action features like Nightfall. It will also feature more than fifty pieces of new artwork, commissioned specifically to illustrate the events of the Halo timeline.
