Tales of Berseria, God Eater, More Coming to North America

God Eater Resurrection, Tales of Berseria and several other titles from Bandai Namco's lineup will be making their way to PlayStation owners in the west.

In a post on PlayStation Blog, Bandai Namco community specialist David Lee announced that—in addition to Tales of Berseria and God Eater Resurrection—JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven and God Eater 2: Rage Burst are coming to PS4 in North America.

Additionally, PS Vita owners will be getting the aforementioned pair of God Eater titles, as well as Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force, which is exclusive to Sony's handheld.

January’s Xbox Games with Gold Revealed

Microsoft has revealed the free games coming to the Xbox Games with Gold program during January.

According to Xbox Wire, Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition will be free on Xbox One to all month long and Zheros will be free to download for Xbox One from January 16 to February 15.

Xbox 360 owners will be able to download DiRT Showdown the first half of January, after which it will be replaced by Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the last half of the month.

Xbox One owners can also download the free offerings for Xbox 360 since all future Xbox 360 games will be backwards compatible with Xbox One.

The Division Developer Shares Game Update, New Screens

Long-awaited shared-world RPG/shooter Tom Clancy's The Division is finally getting close to completion, having recently completed a semi-closed alpha test. So we checked in with associate creative director Julian Gerighty to see where the game is at, and he sent over a few screens of new areas to whet our appetites.

GERIGHTY: The key to our RPG experience are the choices around weapons, skills, talents and mods. Do you want to build yourself out as a particularly lethal long range sniper agent who is able to push forward in that one challenging late game mission or are you going to step in the shoes of a healer with your group to make sure that your entire squad makes it? Audio, Video Streaming Account for 70% of Internet Traffic in North America

People stream so much content in the evening that the activity now accounts for over 70% of peak internet traffic in North America.

That's according to Sandvine and its recently published Global Internet Phenomena Report, which also reveals that the simple act of streaming audio and video, or "real-time entertainment," as Sandvine calls it, has grown over the years. Just five years ago, services like Netflix and Amazon Instant Video only accounted for 35% of peak internet traffic.

Bethesda Confirms Layoffs at Elder Scrolls Online Developer

Bethesda has confirmed that there have been layoffs at Elder Scrolls Online developer, Zenimax Online Studios.

Although the Connacht Tribune originally reported 300 jobs had been lost from its Irish customer service office in Galway, Ireland, Bethesda has now issued a clarifying press statement confirming the staff has been reduced by "approximately 50 people" and was "normal practice".

“Following the successful console launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited in June, we have a thriving console and PC online community,” said the developer in the statement to Eurogamer.

Super Mario RPG Coming to Wii U VC in Europe

Square's classic Super Nintendo role-playing game, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, is making its way to Wii U owners in Europe, Nintendo has announced.

The game will be available for purchase on Virtual Console this Thursday, December 4, for €7.99, Eurogamer reports. UK pricing has yet to be revealed.

The original SNES version of Super Mario RPG released in North America and Japan back in 1996, but never made its way to Europe. It wasn't until the game was released for Wii Virtual Console in 2008 that Europeans could play the title without importing.
