Google and NASA’s Computer is 100 Million Times Faster than Normal PCs

Google and NASA have a "D-Wave 2X quantum annealer," and they say it's 100 million times faster than a PC with a single core.

Over the past couple of years, Google's Quantum AI team has been researching quantum annealers and how they can be used effectively.

"We found that for problem instances involving nearly 1000 binary variables, quantum annealing significantly outperforms its classical counterpart, simulated annealing," writes Hartmut Neven on the Google Research blog. "It is more than 108 times faster than simulated annealing running on a single core."

Best 3D Touch Apps and Games for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus

The iPhone 6s introduced a unique new feature called 3D Touch when it was announced back in September. Unlike the Apple Watch’s Force Touch, 3D Touch is infinitely variable, allowing you to control apps with various touch pressures while Force Touch only detects two levels of force. In short, 3D Touch is more sensitive and quicker than Force Touch.

But finding apps that support the new feature is a bit difficult at the moment as many apps haven't been updated to support 3D Touch. Apple has a dedicated section in its App Store for 3D Touch apps but it’s nothing more than a list. So which apps are the best? Read on to find out which apps show the potential of 3D Touch.
