Sony Files Trademark for Days Gone
Sony Computer Entertainment America has filed a trademark for Days Gone.
The trademark (via DualShockers) was filed with the USPTO on December 28 under Class 9 for "video game software," as well as Class 41, denoting some sort of online component.
Sony has yet to comment on the new trademark, but it's quite possible Days Gone could be a new title from one of its first-party studios. Last month, Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida said an "unprecedented rush" of big releases are headed to PlayStation 4 in 2016. Perhaps Days Gone is one such title.

Activision Wants to Make the ESPN of eSports With MLG
Activision Blizzard has officially announced its acquisition of Major League Gaming.
The acquisition of MLG is part of Activision Blizzard's plan to create "the ESPN of eSports," according to CEO Bobby Kotick.
"MLG has an incredibly strong and seasoned team and a thriving community," Kotick said, and he said together, Activision Blizzard and MLG "will create new ways to celebrate players," as well as gamers' commitment to gaming.
On January 1 of this year, rumors surfaced that Activision Blizzard had bought-out Major League Gaming. While that rumor is now confirmed as a truth, rumors MLG CEO Sundance DiGiovanni had left the company are false.
GM Invests $500 Million in Lyft
General Motors has invested $500 million into Lyft as part of the ride-sharing company's latest $1 billion funding round. The recent venture from G.M. and other investors has increased Lyft's valuation to $5.5 billion.
The $500 million investment is more than just financial backing, according to the New York Times. G.M. will work with Lyft to set up short-term car rental hubs across the United States, where people can pick up a car and drive for Lyft to make money. What's more, the Detroit-based car manufacturer will partner with Lyft to develop self-driving cars, which could be called up on-demand by customers.
Akuma Is the Only Planned Street Fighter Guest in Tekken 7
It appears Tekken 7 won’t be getting anymore guest characters from the Street Fighter universe.
Speaking with senior game designer Michael Murray, PlayStation Lifestyle reports Akuma is the only planned character to crossover from Street Fighter into Tekken 7, but the door is always open for more at a later time.
“Harada
and I have always been against guest characters because it kinda throws off the Tekken world and setting,” Murray said. “But Akuma fits the bill, and we wanted to tie him into the story so that the crossover is not some cheesy gimmick. The feedback is really positive. But no plans at the moment for additional crossovers, though we are open to the possibility in the future.
Fallout 4 Mod Turns Deathclaws Into Macho Man
As feature-rich and content-packed as Fallout 4 is, the game is sorely lacking in Macho Man Randy Savage. That is, until now.
Created by AronaxAE, based on a Skyrim mod by FancyPants, the mod promises to bring a little more excitement to the Commonwealth. The Macho Claws mod for Fallout 4 turns Deathclaws into powerful, neon-cowboy hat wearing Macho Men approximations.
They not only look like The Macho Man, but they spout Macho-isms like "Oooh yeah," and threaten Hulk Hogan with physical harm.
On the mod's page on Nexusmods, AranaxAE described wandering the Commonwealth and pondering many of Fallout 4's idiosyncrasies. "Whilst pondering these thoughts, I always miss the lack of Randy Savage in-game," and hence the Macho Claws mod was born.

Daredevil: Season 2 Debuting Against Batman v Superman?
Marvel's Daredevil: Season 2 will reportedly go head-to-head against Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice this March.
According to ComicBook.com, "independent sources" claim the show's second season will debut on Netflix on March 25, the very same day that Zack Snyder's upcoming superhero film opens in theaters.
This isn't the first time Marvel and DC have battled over release dates, with something similar happening back in 2014 with Batman v Superman. Warner's upcoming film was originally set to debut on May 6, on a day Marvel had claimed for an unnamed film. But after Marvel responded by revealing their movie would be Captain America: Civil War, Dawn of Justice was moved forward to March.
