Star Wars Rebels: Images of Leia’s Episode Revealed

As reported earlier today, Star Wars Rebels is returning on January 20 and it's bringing a special guest along for the ride.

Titled "A Princess on Lothal," the episode will feature the show's introduction of a young Princess Leia Organa acting as an Imperial diplomat while secretly helping the Rebels crew.

“One of the complex challenges of depicting Leia in Rebels is that we have to remind the audience that she is part of the Empire at this point,” says Rebels and Clone Wars creator Dave Filoni to StarWars.com. “She doesn’t believe in the Empire, but she is acting the part, almost as a double agent. The Empire sees her as a privileged princess who runs mercy missions to wayward worlds, but in truth she is much stronger and more dangerous than they imagine.”

The details come from an interview with Heroic Hollywood. Highlights include Spider-Man's relationship to the other characters, the role of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, and Cap's own motivation in this highly revised version of the Marvel event.

Joe Russo described Ross, the longstanding Hulk antagonist, as being "much savvier" this time around. Remembering David Bowie’s Movie Roles

The world lost a truly irreplaceable artist with the passing of David Bowie. As a musician, Bowie was able to remain relevant and vital for over four decades by reinventing his sound and switching up his fashion to create a spectacularly myriad catalogue of songs and styles. Years upon years of vastly different work - yet all still quintessentially Bowie.

Bowie, born David Robert Jones, was also no stranger to the silver screen as he began to appear in movies, and TV, as soon as christened himself with his new stage name in 1967.

And with most everyone now diving deep into their Bowie music collection, re-listening to his timeless classics, we thought we'd scroll back through his movie history and pick out his most memorable appearances. Because, being the artist that he was, Bowie attracted the attention of many similarly-minded creative types - like David Lynch, Christopher Nolan, Julian Schnabel, Martin Scosese, and more.
