How Colony Explores Life in an Occupied Los Angeles

How do you show Los Angeles is in serious trouble? Remove the cars. The city isn't the same without its clogged freeways. Owning a vehicle is a form of independence, and the forces in charge of Los Angeles in USA Network's Colony have taken them away. The series, created by Lost's Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal, navigates the dangerous landscape through the eyes and experiences of the Bowman family. Will (Lost's Josh Holloway) and Katie (The Walking Dead's Sarah Wayne Callies) have lost a son and are doing everything they can to keep what's left of their family together and to survive. Unfortunately, they're put in positions where they might be forced to choose one over the other. IGN joined a small group of journalists on the set of the science fiction drama to talk with Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, and Ryan Condal about the first season.
