Get Your First Look at CM Punk in EA Sports UFC 2
The latest video for EA Sports UFC 2 gives us our first in-game look at CM Punk.
Punk’s right at the beginning of the video, which also showcases UFC 2’s all-new knockout system, and improvements to the game’s submission and transition grappling mechanics.
Naturally, the reveal of Punk’s first in-game image was met with the usual controversy. Some believe Punk is a “hobby MMA fighter” and therefore has no place in the octagon. While others point to Punk’s past training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and his determination to be The Best in the World as a sign he has every right to be there.
PayDay 2 Gets Goat Simulator DLC
In collaboration with Coffee Stain Studios, Overkill Software is introducing a new, bizarre DLC pack. Releasing January 14, PayDay 2 is getting a Goat Simulator heist.
From the description on Overkill's website, you'll play as the PayDay 2 crew on a mission from Vlad to "intercept a truck carrying cocaine." Arriving on scene, the cocaine is nowhere to be found, but there are goats. Lots of goats.
After wrangling said goats, you'll bring them to Vlad's driver, Boris, who'll—uh—extract the drugs.
PayDay 2's Goat Simulator pack is $7 and will include the two-day heist, five achievements, one shotgun, and 16 other items. The DLC releases in the midst of the heist shooter's XP event, giving 25% more XP to all players from January 12 to 21.
Abrams Knows ‘Quite a Bit’ About Rey’s Lineage
Although J.J. Abrams isn't directing the next installment of Star Wars, he's pretty clued up on the story that's going to unfold.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour, where he was supporting his upcoming Showtime series Roadies, Abrams told the press that he knows "quite a bit" about Rey's mysterious lineage.
"I know quite a bit," said Abrams. "But obviously it’s not for me to talk about in this moment because this is Rian (Johnson's) story to continue now and the last thing I’m going to do is reveal something he would be upset about. I want to make sure Rian gets that courtesy that he had shown me."
When asked if it was "crazy" to sit on such a huge secret for so long, Abrams replied "not for me!"

Twin Peaks Revival Premiering “First Half of 2017″
Awesome Twin Peaks revival news from the Showtime panel at today's TCA Press Tour, as network CEO David Nevins announced "David Lynch is more than halfway through shooting schedule, and
will premiere in the first half of 2017."

I have not seen an entire assembled episode. There are no assembled episodes yet. This was just to get a feel for various characters."
Agents of SHIELD: The Fallout From Ward’s Change Will Be ‘Big’
After Marvel's Agents of SHIELD's midseason finale left viewers with two big plot twists, the cast and creators of the show previewed to IGN that various characters' decisions will have unforeseen consequences in the episodes ahead.
Full spoilers for Agents of SHIELD up through its Season 3 midseason finale continue below.
It was a pretty huge deal when Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) killed his former agent-turned-traitor Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) in an emotional decision that Gregg believes "definitely" crossed a line for his character. But that death allowed the mysterious Inhuman living on Maveth to inhabit a new body and make it to Earth, something that none of the SHIELD agents yet know about. IGN caught up with the stars and creators of Agents of SHIELD at ABC's Television Critics Association party and asked how the repercussions of those big events will be felt once SHIELD returns from its hiatus.
