The 100: Raven’s Starting Season 3 in a Very Bad Place
Among The 100 fandom, Raven Reyes (Lindsey Morgan) has proven to be a resourceful and popular character. However, things have been far for easy for the young mechanical engineer, who found herself unable to use one of her legs after being shot at the end of Season 1. Season 3 of The 100, beginning Thursday night, will show that Raven, despite temporarily putting aside her obstacles last year, still has some huge physical and mental issues to overcome thanks to her recent disability.
Last week, shortly before the female cast members from The 100, joined by executive producer Jason Rothenberg, discussed the series during a panel at the TCA press tour, I sat down with Morgan to talk about Raven’s struggles in Season 3, her relationships with characters like Abby (Paige Turco) and Sinclair (Alessandro Juliani), and more.
Riot Reveals New Ocean Week Challenge for League of Legends
Riot Games has confirmed that it is running a new ‘Ocean Week’ in-game event for League of Legends players on the Oceanic server from January 23 to January 31.
Players will be required to protect seven cities across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji over the course of the week. Riot explains that each city will have a points total that will need to be reached in order to successfully defend it. For every city saved Riot will unlock a new reward tier, and if all the cities are saved and the final battle is won, the grand prize will be unlocked: a community mural featured in “a major city in Oceania.”
According to Riot during last year’s ‘Ocean Week’ players unlocked the main Ocean Week prize in just three days.
Legends of Tomorrow: Hawkgirl’s Still Adjusting to the Truth
Having been introduced in an innocuous manner, as Cisco’s love interest on The Flash, Kendra (Ciara Renee) quickly turned out to be a much more important player in CW’s DC TV universe, as it was revealed (including to herself) that she was actually the latest reincarnation of Hawkgirl.
Kendra/Hawkgirl is now making the leap over to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, as she and Carter/Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) join an unlikely, time traveling team out to stop the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), Kendra and Carter’s eternal enemy – and a man determined to kill them, as he has over and over through the ages.
During a visit to the set of Legends of Tomorrow, I spoke to Renee about how Kendra is adjusting to what she’s learned, how Renee is enjoying becoming a part of this world and more.
Amy Schumer Will Prove She Didn’t Steal Jokes
Amy Schumer will take a polygraph test on her Comedy Central sketch show to prove that she doesn't steal jokes. Hear for yourself below:
Speaking to Jim Norton on The Jim Norton Advice Show, Schumer pushed back against the allegations that her jokes aren't original. In particular, she spoke about three comedians —Wendy Liebman, Kathleen Madigan, and Tammy Pescatelli—who've recently questioned Schumer's ethics, saying that some of her jokes are suspiciously close to their own. Schumer, however, is persistent that she hadn't "seen those jokes from those people."
“I’m literally going to take a polygraph test and put it on my show this season,” Schumer told Norton. “And I promise whatever the results are—I won’t let them cut.”

The X-Files: Where We Left Off
It's been fourteen years since The X-Files aired its last new episode, and given some of its audience didn’t stick around for the final seasons -- following in the footsteps of the original stars, as David Duchovny left and Gillian Anderson took an increasingly smaller role -- it's possibly been longer than that since many of you watched it.
That being the case, we thought it would be a good idea then to remind (or inform) you about where the story left off, as six new episodes of The X-Files begin airing on Sunday, January 24th. So let’s do some catch up on the last couple years of The X-Files’ original run, along with the second X-Files movie from a few years back.
First off, in Season 7’s "Closure," Mulder accepted the following convoluted version of his sister's disappearance: Samantha was abducted by aliens (in cooperation with the U.S. Government) and subjected to multiple abductions during which she endured many horrible tests. For six years, between kidnappings, she lived in California as the sister of Jeffery Spender and the daughter of the Cigarette Smoking Man. When she was 14, she ran away and before she could be recaptured, she was rescued by mystical beings called "walk-ins," who transformed her into pure energy before she could be harmed. Some didn’t find this answer as satisfying as Mulder did, but as far as Chris Carter and Co. were concerned, the Samantha chapter appeared to be closed.
This SteelSeries Gaming Mouse Lets You Play Shia LaBeouf GIFs on Its Display
SteelSeries is coming out with a new flagship mouse called the Rival 700. It packs in a 16,000 CPI (counts per inch) optical sensor, haptic vibration, and an OLED screen on the side. Why do you need a screen on your mouse? Well, to upload animated GIFs of Shia LaBeouf telling you to “JUST DO IT!”
Beyond the silly GIFs, the monochrome OLED screen can be programmed to display your CPI settings or display a custom logo using the GameSense app. And of course the mouse is full RGB LED supported so you can choose the colors you want the mouse to light up. The GameSense app also lets you configure the haptic feedback of the mouse, which has been cleverly designed not to affect tracking. SteelSeries achieved this by using a motor to vibrate in the vertical axis. Some games will come with preset configurations to take advantage of the haptic motors but you can customize it for games without presets.
Terminator Genisys Sequels Pulled From Schedule
Paramount Pictures has removed the sequel to Terminator Genisys from their release schedule. The film had been slated to open May 19, 2017.
The studio has replaced the Terminator sequel with Baywatch, a feature film comedy revamp of the TV series that will star Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, and Alexandra Daddario.
"The news about Terminator isn't a shock, considering that Terminator: Genisys was widely viewed as a disappointment," as THR points out. "Genisys, opening in summer 2015, earned roughly $440 million worldwide, including only $89 million in North America."
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Adds Ant-Man’s Martin Donovan

Donovan will make his guest star debut in Legends of Tomorrow's fourth episode, "White Knights," with the possibility to recur.
Martin Donovan on Lifetime's The Lottery

Druce finds himself faced with his greatest challenge when he is tasked to find Rip and convince him to abandon his hunt for Vandal Savage (Casper Crump). If he can't convince his former pupil and the Legends to give up their quest, he may be forced to kill the man he looked upon as a son.
