Why Have We Only Just Discovered Planet 9’s Existence?
Recently, it was announced that astronomers have found evidence that points to a ninth planet in our Solar System.
If you discount Pluto, which had its planet status removed, then this will be the first planet we've found since Neptune in 1846. So why has it taken so long?
How Stuff Works has given some explanation. Even though the so-called Planet Nine is massive, around 5,000 times bigger than Pluto, we still haven't observed it yet.
We have to take into account the sheer size of the Solar System, and realize that actually observing something without a lot of mathematical calculation is incredibly unlikely. In addition, since Planet Nine is so far away from the sun, the light that falls on it is around 300,000 times weaker than the sunlight we get. This makes it even harder to spot with a telescope.

AHS Actor to Play Michael Jackson in 9/11 Road Trip Movie
Joseph Fiennes, who played Monsignor Timothy Howard in American Horror Story: Asylum, has been cast as Michael Jackson in a movie about the pop star's alleged road trip following the events of 9/11.
According to a 2011 Vanity Fair report, with air travel shut down, the King of Pop, Elizabeth Taylor, and Marlon Brando rented a car in an attempt to drive back to California together. While an assistant to Taylor denies the report, one of Jackson's former employees claims the group made it to Ohio before calling it quits.

Canadian Figure Skater Hits the Ice to Cowboy Bebop Theme
A Canadian figure skater gave the world what we can only assume is its first adaptation of Cowboy Bebop on ice last week...to an extent, anyway.
The performance came courtesy of Kevin Reynolds, a 25-year-old Olympic silver medalist. At the 2016 Canadian National Figure Skating Championships, Reynolds entered the rink to Yoko Kanno's famous theme "Tank!" — the opening song of the equally recognizable anime Cowboy Bebop.
According to Golden Skate, Reynolds' routine, which he performed while dressed like series protagonist Spike Spiegel, earned him third place. The performance included both a "quadruple Salchow-triple toe loop," and a "triple Axel." Unfortunately Reynolds fell on the second maneuver, though he managed to right himself very quickly.

Legends of Tomorrow: How the New Firestorm is Fitting In
The members of the team on the new CW superhero series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, all have different levels of experience, but it’s safe to say Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (Franz Drameh) may be the greenest of them all... at least when you factor in Kendra/Hawkgirl’s past lives.
Introduced on an episode of The Flash this past fall, Jax only recently discovered his abilities, in the process bonding with Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber) to become Firestorm.
On a visit to the set of Legends of Tomorrow a couple months back, I spoke to Drameh (a British actor whose credits include Edge of Tomorrow and Attack the Block) about Jax's powers, his dynamic with Stein and more.
