DayZ Forum Information Compromised by Hackers
DayZ players who have signed up to the official forums are being warned to changed their login credentials, particularly if they use the same password on multiple sites.
Forum usernames, emails and passwords have been leaked following a hack which also brought down Mini DayZ, the free, browser-based game.
Though passwords were not stored in plain text, developer Bohemia Interactive strongly advises players to update their information and change passwords.
"A security incident occurred on forums.dayzgame.com recently," Bohemia said in a statement sent out to players (via Reddit). "According to our investigation all usernames, emails and passwords from forums.dayzgame.com were accessed and downloaded by hackers."
Major Multiplayer Changes Accompany the Next Destiny Event
Destiny will soon introduce a whole host of multiplayer changes — both in the competitive Crucible and the cooperative King's Fall.
In a new blog series called "This Week At Bungie" (formerly the Bungie Weekly Update) community manager David "DeeJ" Dague went into specifics. The crux of upcoming additions will land in the Crucible, though the game's latest raid will also see some improvements.
First off is a major change to special ammo in 3v3 Crucible matches. Namely, players will no longer start each round with any.
Instead you'll have to wait for the regularly scheduled drops to feed their shotguns, snipers, and fusion rifles. This was apparently done "to increase the use of Primary weapons, especially at match-start." Despite having the same total player count the free-for-all Rumble mode will remain unaffected.
BMX Athlete Dave Mirra Passes Away at Age 41
Dave Mirra was found dead yesterday at the age of 41.
Mirra was found in his truck in Greenville, North Carolina, on Thursday afternoon with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Greenville Police Department is investigating the death.
“We mourn the loss today of a great friend and wonderful human being who touched the lives of so many around the world with his gift. He called Greenville, North Carolina home and was as humble a guy talking with kids on a street corner about bikes as he was in his element on the world stage. A young life with so much to offer was taken too soon,” said City of Greenville Mayor Allen Thomas.
Rainbow Six Siege Update Causes More Glitch Issues
The latest Rainbow Six Siege patch may have introduced a series of new glitches to the game.
On the Rainbow Six Siege Reddit players are reporting issues with hit registration, rendering problems (operators become black shadows), and problems with knife melee attacks, such as those demonstrated in the video below.
"Nothing was as game breaking before as I'm seeing now," said one player, while another added: "I don't play that often, but yesterday I got a headshot bonus without getting a kill. Is that normal?"

Ethan Hawke: You know, in truth, I know they say that, and there are several instances of which they refer to when they say that, but I could never find a true event that this was really...
