Backwards Compatible Red Dead Redemption on Xbox One an ‘Error’, Access Removed

Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hryb has clarified that several Xbox 360 games that Xbox One users discovered backwards compatibility support for over the weekend, including Red Dead Redemption, were made available due to an error.

“Microsoft tests all Xbox 360 games with our emulator to ensure a quality experience across a breadth of titles,” Hryb wrote in a new post on Reddit. “Due to an error, some of the games currently in test were accidentally made available. We have since removed access to those games, and apologize for any confusion this may have caused. We will have more information on upcoming releases soon.”

Check Out Psylocke vs Deadpool in Olivia Munn’s New Vid

Olivia Munn has taken to Instagram to show off her sword game - vs the Merc with a Mouth.

In a new video, Munn demonstrates some of the ambidextrous sword skills she's learned for her role in the forthcoming movie X-Men: Apocalypse. As her sparring partner, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds isn't quite...equipped for the fight. Check it out below.

Munn recently dropped by IGN's San Francisco office last week to appear on an upcoming episode of the show Up at Noon, and also revealed a new theatrical standee for X-Men: Apocalypse. Reynolds is currently flying high as the star of Deadpool, which we described as " large dose of unwholesome fun" in our review.

Panda Devours Zombies at the Weekend Box Office

Super Bowl weekend was not kind to new releases at the North American box office as Kung Fu Panda 3 continued its reign at the top.

Hail, Caesar! fared best among the new releases, but even then it still managed to be the lowest-grossing wide release of the Coen Brothers' career.

The showbiz send-up, which is said to have cost $22 million to produce, bowed in second place with an estimated $11.4 million.

Critics were certainly kinder to Hail, Caesar! than audiences were; the film's "C-"  CinemaScore indicates lousy word of mouth for it going ahead.

The 100: Big Trouble is Coming for Octavia and Bellamy

Last month at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour, I spoke to several cast members from The 100, shortly before a panel for the show comprised of female cast members, joined by executive producer Jason Rothenberg.

Given I’d already seen the first few episodes of Season 3 at this point, some of these interviews needed to be held until viewers had a chance to witness some of the content we discussed, which is why you’ll see a few pieces of content from this day going up this week.

First off is Marie Avgeropoulos, who talks about Octavia’s continued discomfort amongst the Arkers, an upcoming rift with Bellamy, reconnecting with Indra, The 100's fandom and more…

‘Abuse of Children’ Keeps Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Off App Store

Apple has rejected The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth from releasing on its iOS App store, citing violence and abuse towards children as the reason why.

Tyrone Rodriguez, the game's producer, tweeted a photo of the rejection letter with the captain, "C'mon, wtf... Apple."

Neither Rodriquez nor creator Edmund McMillen have officially announced the game's mobile release, though Rodriquez continues to tease its existence, tweeting out a photo of McMillen playing The Binding of Isaac on an unidentified tablet.

Titanfall 2 Will Have a Single Player Campaign

Titanfall's sequel will have a single-player campaign, though it won't release until "late this year or early next," said lead writer Jesse Stern.

Stern told Forbes Titanfall 2 will take place in a world both scientific and magical, but is still "grounded, dirty, human, and real."

Respawn Entertainment's development team began working on the sequel in 2014, after finishing Titanfall's downloadable content.

"One of the shortcomings of the first game was we just did not have the mechanism to tell everyone 'here's who you are, here's where you are, and who's around you,'" Stern said. "We knew all the answers, we just could not deliver it."

Shades of Blue Renewed for Season 2

Jennifer Lopez's provocative cop drama Shades of Blue has been renewed for a second season. Lopez is both the star and producer of the NBC show.

In a statement, NBC network entertainment president Jennifer Salke called Lopez "the hardest working woman we know."
