Physicists Detect Gravitational Waves, Proving Einstein Right

The sound of two black holes colliding ends with a middle C note, according to physicists.

The worldwide scientific group LIGO reports they've found the first hard evidence of gravitational waves. If they can replicate it this could prove right one of Albert Einstein's unconfirmed predictions. Namely, that binary star systems made from white dwarfs, neutron stars, and in this case black holes can push and pull the fabric of space-time.

The New York Times states that LIGO made the gravitational wave recording last September. The incident is laid out in a report by more than 1000 authors in the scientific journal Physical Review Letters.

Here is a breakdown of five things to expect when The Walking Dead returns -- though, as a caveat for spoiler-phobes, those looking to go in completely unspoiled might want to avoid the teases in this article.

The first half of Season 6 took its time to tell its story, focusing in on various characters in different episodes to dive into their storylines. "No Way Out" moves quickly through its plot and sets up a quicker momentum for the back half of the season.

Ubisoft has revealed a bevy of statistics from The Division, and it seems like the overwhelming majority of players can't be trusted.

The infographic's more general stats include nearly 300 million kills, and more than 621 million total minutes played. That is to say just over 10 million hours split between all players during the 120-hour closed beta.

More interesting, however, are the "Dark Zone" numbers.

Darth Vader’s Kill Count in His Comic Is Most Impressive

If there's one Star Wars character that deserves his own ongoing series, it's Darth Vader. One year ago today, Marvel launched the notorious Sith Lord's solo comic, and the results, as Vader would say, have been most impressive.

The series, aptly titled Darth Vader, helps bridge the gap between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, which, on paper, doesn't sound like much time to tell new stories. But writer Kieron Gillen and artist Salvador Larroca (and the rest of the Marvel Star Wars comics team) have proved that there's plenty of room for untold adventures between movies. In Vader's case, the first several weeks after the Death Star's destruction were... brutal, to say the least. Well, brutal for anyone who crossed Vader's path anyway.
