Darth Vader’s Kill Count in His Comic Is Most Impressive
If there's one Star Wars character that deserves his own ongoing series, it's Darth Vader. One year ago today, Marvel launched the notorious Sith Lord's solo comic, and the results, as Vader would say, have been most impressive.
The series, aptly titled Darth Vader, helps bridge the gap between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, which, on paper, doesn't sound like much time to tell new stories. But writer Kieron Gillen and artist Salvador Larroca (and the rest of the Marvel Star Wars comics team) have proved that there's plenty of room for untold adventures between movies. In Vader's case, the first several weeks after the Death Star's destruction were... brutal, to say the least. Well, brutal for anyone who crossed Vader's path anyway.

Force Awakens Producers Hit With Criminal Charges
A production team involved in Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been issued criminal charges by the British government following Harrison Ford's accident on the Millennium Falcon.
According to Variety, Disney subsidiary Foodles Production has been charged with four workplace health and safety violations. "By law, employers must take reasonable steps to protect workers — this is as true on a film set as a factory floor," a statement from the Health and Safety Executive said.
A spokesperson from Foodles Production has since responded, saying: "Cast and crew safety is always a top priority. We provided full cooperation during HSE’s investigation into the on-set accident that occurred in June 2014 and are disappointed in HSE’s decision."
New Magiana, Pokemon Movie Details
Magiana, the man-made Pokemon with a metallic body, is getting its own movie, Volcanion and the Exquisite Magiana.
The newest Pokemon was revealed in the latest issue of CoroCoro, and just after its announcement comes more details about the movie.
As translated by Serebii, the movie will follow Ash and his friends on their ongoing journey, when Volcanion "drops down from the sky in front of them." Magiana has been captured by a city of "super-machinery," called "Azoth Kingdom." Volcanion is on a mission to save Magiana—but becomes linked together with Ash "by a strange chain." We're unsure whether that chain is literal or metaphorical, though regardless, Ash and Volcanion will have to work together to rescue Magiana.

The Witness, Firewatch, and Coping With Depression
Many video games encourage isolation. They’ve long been an emotional safety net for me, in addition to my favorite hobby. Sudden depression occasionally corrupts my mood, and the only thing that seems useful, practical, and healthy is to hide. This is difficult when working an office job and living with my significant other. Thankfully, wonderful and supportive people around me understand my occasional need need for space.
In one of these states of self-imposed isolation, I completed the two loneliest games I have ever played. I played both Firewatch and The Witness while hidden. In a strange way, I enjoyed both more than I would have if I had proper control of my emotions and my mind.
