Rocket League Gets the Batmobile in March

Rocket League will introduce another new vehicle next month. Paying homage to DC Comics' upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film, the soccer-with-cars game is getting the Dark Knight's iconic Batmobile. Check out the trailer below.

Batman's battle-car will be available in-game on March 8, and it looks awesome. The trailer shows the Batmobile tearing up the field, with a massive Bat Symbol explosion after scoring. Rocket League's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice car pack will also include three exclusive antenna flags—one each for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

On its official Twitter account, Psyonix announced the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice car pack will cost $2 USD. Rocket League's new content is expected to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

New Trademark Spotted for Alan Wake

A new trademark has been spotted for Alan Wake.

Via a post on NeoGAF, the trademark in question was for “Alan Wake’s Return,” and was filed on February 23.

This isn’t the first time Remedy has discussed a follow-up. Back in April, the studio's creative director Sam Lake said the following:

"For Alan Wake, from the get-go, we assumed there was going to be a sequel and we mapped things further out when it came to character, story, details and focus changes," said Lake. "We knew we would have to iterate and refine, but there was always a rough road map there.”

Tye Sheridan Cast in Spielberg’s Ready Player One

X-Men: Apocalypse actor Tye Sheridan has won the starring role in Steven Spielberg's adaptation of Ready Player One.

Per Deadline, Sheridan has been cast as protagonist Wade in the adaptation of Ernest Cline's sci-fi novel. He will play against Olivia Cooke and Ben Mendelsohn, who star as Art3mis and the villainous Nolan Sorrento, respectively.

Sheridan will also flex his genre film muscles as young Cyclops in Bryan Singer's upcoming  X-Men: Apocalypse.

Last year, Spielberg described Ready Player One as "a crystal ball into exactly what is going to be happening not in 30 or 40 years but in between 5 and 10 years from now, where a virtual world becomes almost like a drug of choice and where we are spending more time in a nonorganic space than we are breathing and eating and interacting in real life."

What to Expect from Legends of Tomorrow’s Older Green Arrow

In the second part of my new Stephen Amell interview – click here for what he had to say about the current storylines on Arrow in part one – we turn to the actor’s big guest role on Legends of Tomorrow this week. While Amell has already guest starred as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow on Legends, he’ll be doing so in a very different manner this time out – playing the Oliver of 2046.

Amell discussed this version of Oliver, which sports both the classic Oliver Queen comic book goatee and is missing an arm, much like the older version of Green Arrow seen in The Dark Knight Returns. We also discussed 2046’s Connor Hawke (Joseph David-Jones), the possibility of Green Arrow ever meeting Supergirl (now that The Flash is doing a crossover) and much more.

Mortal Kombat Secrets Revealed Over 20 Years Later

A long-time Mortal Kombat player has documented secret menus in the first three games more than 20 years later.

The so-called "EJB Menus" — presumably named after Mortal Kombat co-designer Edward J. Boon — were first discovered last year by The Cutting Room Floor. Now, the secrets found in Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and 3 have been documented on video by YouTube user YourMKArcadeSource.

The Easter eggs largely act like debug menus, particularly in the first two games. Users can run diagnostics, skip to character endings, and program initials into the leaderboards. The menus also reveal a "Hello" screen which shouts out multiple names (including "mom") for several seconds.
