The 100: Big Consequences Await Raven, Bellamy and Lexa
Warning: Full spoilers for The 100 through last week’s episode, “Hakeldama”, follow.
Some huge events are underway on The 100 right now, as Bellamy’s decision to help Pike (Michael Beach) massacre a Grounder army sent to protect Arkadia has caused some massive rifts between former allies, including Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy (Bob Morley). Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) was intent on attacking Arkadia in retribution, until Clarke convinced her not to respond with more violence – though it remains to be seen how that choice will go over amongst those who follow Lexa.
On top of that, Raven (Lindsey Morgan), still in massive pain from her crippled leg, has taken the chip given to her by Jaha (Isaiah Washington) – causing her to see Alie (Erica Cerra) for the first time.

Start Reading Our Favorite Comic Book of 2015 for Less Than $6
Brian K. Vaughan's Saga was our choice for the Best Comic Book Series of 2015, and the first volume (which contains issues 1 through 8) is only $5.64 right now. Saga has elements of Star Wars and Game of Thrones, and it moves at an incredible pace that makes it like an incredible read. While the first book is dirt cheap (others are around $10 each), I highly recommend the deluxe edition, which gives you eighteen issues in one hardcover volume. Whichever binding you choose, you won't be disappointed, but you will be wanting more.

One-Armed Arrow Takes Cue from Dark Knight
With Arrow’s Stephen Amell showing up in this week’s Legends of Tomorrow as an older, grittier version of Oliver Queen, some fans may be wondering where this future take on the Green Arrow came from. You’ll have to watch the episode, named "Star City 2046," for the specifics of the Arrowverse 30 years from now, but as for the inspiration behind this one-armed, goatee-sporting Arrow, read on.
This take on the future Oliver Queen is clearly based on the character as depicted in Frank Miller’s seminal series The Dark Knight Returns. Obviously the specifics of "Star City 2046" are different -- for one thing, there’s no Batman in this world as far as we can tell -- but the notion of an old Green Arrow with only one arm comes directly from Miller’s story.

The first season will be 16 episodes long, and Five Year is intended to run for five seasons. The show tells the story of a family set against the backdrop of a deadly meteor heading to Earth and the threat of the impending apocalypse hanging over humanity's heads.
Top 30 Best Picture Winners
Oscar fever is in the air, with the 88th Academy Awards being held this Sunday, February 28. For 88 years, the Oscars have rewarded the best films with golden statues that immortalize their quality and importance to the history of cinema. While there are certainly some Best Picture recipients that plenty of people would take issue with, there are even more movies that are undeniably deserving of the Academy’s highest honor.
To celebrate our excitement for Oscar Sunday, we thought we’d take a look at the Top 30 Best Picture Winners of all-time.
In an era when Hollywood was still blossoming, All Quiet on the Western Front showcased the artistic and historical possibilities of the cinema, creating one of the most realistic depictions of war on film at the time. The movie has been immeasurably influential on the works of later filmmakers (Steven Spielberg has credited the movie as an inspiration for Saving Private Ryan) let alone the genre of war films itself. It caused some controversy internationally, but domestically, the movie was rewarded with Best Picture and Best Director Oscars.
