Michael Keaton Cast in American Assassin
Birdman and Spotlight actor Michael Keaton has joined the cast of CBS Films and Lionsgate's upcoming movie adaptation of American Assassin.
Keaton will play Stan Hurley, a Cold War veteran who "would be the most feared training officer in the CIA if more than a handful of people at the agency knew that he existed."
"Stan Hurley is one of the pillars of the Vince Flynn universe and a favorite character for millions of readers, so casting him was a daunting challenge," the film's director, Michael Cuesta, said in a statement. "To have an actor as intelligent and gifted as Michael Keaton bring this beloved character to life is a thrill for everyone involved."

Play a New EVE Online Minigame, Assist Real Life Scientific Research
In an update released today, EVE Online added a new minigame, Project Discovery - in exchange for finding patterns in images of protein cells, pilots are rewarded with ISK, medals, new Analysis Kredits and, most importantly, the feeling of having just contributed to real life science.
The game is simpler than it looks - you're presented with a picture of a protein structure, and you match its various elements with a set of examples. Does that nucleus look like the same shape as that nucleus? That's a match. The more matches you make, and the more accurate you are, the more in-game rewards you receive. That also means that those looking to cash in by simply making up answers will be given fewer and fewer rewards as time goes on, making the only real path to progression helping people. Lovely!

It's not entirely clear how this is working, or exactly what it's doing – the emulator doesn't just extend the sprites backwards, but appears to take some artistic license with how they're presented, dropping shadows and deciding where environmental elements sit in relation to one another.
