Hitman’s Full Physical Release Slips out of 2016

UPDATE: In regards to the reasoning for the delay, a Square Enix representative offered the following statement to IGN.

“This year is all about delivering the best episodic experience for Hitman and that takes us to Autumn/Fall. Releasing the disc version in January just makes sure we have enough time after the season concludes to dedicate to getting the best disc version of the game out.”

Original story follows...

The disc-based version of Hitman - originally scheduled for this year - will now release in January 2017.

It was announced early this year that Square Enix was previously courting a late 2016 release date for its full physical version of the episodic game. No reasoning for the delay has been given at the time of writing.

A new ecology-focused neighbourhood-building simulator, Block’Hood has come to Steam via Early Access.

Block’Hood comes with access to over 90 building blocks, some of which have “implications"; you’ll need to find a way to balance the green with the urban, lest you create an environment not worth living in.

It’s worth noting, Bethesda plans to extend DLC past these first three pieces.
