Screenwriter Calls Man of Steel, BvS, Justice League ‘One Saga’

Screenwriter Chris Terrio says Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League are all "one saga," with Batman v Superman being the darkest.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is much darker than Man of Steel, Terrio said, because the middle film in a series is traditionally the darkest.

"Batman v Superman is a bit of an Empire Strikes Back or Two Towers or any similar middle film in a trilogy," Terrio told the Wall Street Journal.  "I do think from Man of Steel through Justice League, it is one saga really." And because of that, Terrio intentionally lightened up when writing Justice League.

"We've had a couple of in-roads, particularly with Fallout, which is a bit stickier than Elder Scrolls, but everybody's kind of asked and I've taken a number of

meetings over the years and nothing quite clicked where I felt, 'Oh, that would be as good as the game,'" Howard told GI.biz in an interview.

"And that may happen. I don't rule it out, but nothing really has clicked where - the games are popular enough and that's their identity."
